I live in Östersund, a city a bit to the north in Sweden. Have worked, studied and will now work a bit again before I go back to studies. I have always liked rpg's and fantasy, ever since I was 7 and got to play Pool of Radiance on the C64 with an older friend who could read english. Went through Nintendo 8-bit, Vic 20, C128, Amiga 500, Amiga 1200 before buying my own PC. Played some playstation, sega and nintendo 16-bit etc at friends.
Got hooked real big on heroes 2 in high school, we were 3 to 6 friends that played hotseat all night long and I still think that's the best heroes for its time. I play heroes 3 now and then now after getting bored of heroes 4, but have never played in any tournaments or the like. It's mostly singel player these days. Played Everquest far too long, and will never even test any mmorpg again because of the amount of time it takes to stay on top and there really is more to life than games after all 
As for music I don't rule out any genre, although I don't listen to much rap or techno. If I were to name any bands that has survived a long time in my playlist it would be 16 Horsepower, Björk, Cranberries, Kent, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Suede (but not the last album, eep it's so bad), The Tea Party & Weeping Willows. Things that I listen to now and then would be Thåström, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Cardigans, REM, Caroline af Ugglas and a whole lot of weirdo goth/dark metal bands (Black Heart Procession, Death in June, Diary of Dreams, Lacrimosa, Theatre of Tragedy, The Sins of Thy Beloved, Within Temptation & Wolfsheim are the more recognized ones). Lately I've mostly listened to Emiliana Torrini, Queens of the Stone Age, Franz Ferdinand, The Knife & Bertine Zetlitz.
Films that are good is harder. This isn't a top 10 or anything, but if I were to sit down for a while and create a top 30 they would probably be in it.
Edward Scissorhands (best), Moulin Rouge, Amelie from Montmartre, Tombstone, Gladiator, Vanilla Sky, Memento, Seven, Pirates of the Caribbean, Matrix, Fight Club, Usual Suspects, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Piano, Lord of the Rings 1-3, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Dancer in the Dark (the saddest movie ever).
