The "rules" are pretty straightforward. It has to be done by you, we aren't posting professional art that we think is cool, that's a different thread.
Other than that it's entirely up in the air, whatever program you want to use or if you want to scan hand drawn stuff, whatever works best for you. Funny, sad, whatever you like for a subject.
Some (heroes of) might and magic subjects might be a cool start.
I have no artistic talent so I won't participate drawing wise but I like to comment.
Stick to the COC, let's be supportive of other people's art.
So just a reminder, it should be your own work.

Ow man this thread reminded me of my good old days when I used to make 3D models but I'm extremely busy and completely out of time to do it anymore (these days I am working on setting up some sound stuff, of course software). It feels like I waste talent and so many stuff to do with so little time 
sorry for bringing my nostalgia feeling to this thread.

I wanted to post something here earlier but I couldn't find any of my work These are my 1-2 year old grannies that I could dig up (apart from H5 recoloured ones whic I posted elsewhere.

Now i feel guilty for complaining in this thread without anything, so here's my contribution.
This is one example of what I did a long time ago. It started out with the Terminator idea, I wanted to model the shape of Arnie's head

of course it looks green with an uniform color because it doesn't have texture. Don't mind that, look at the 'shape' or the 'model' so to speak.
There is also a spider I posted anyway on some thread a while back. It's inspired by a spooky toy I had.

of course, no texture either. But this one has orange-slightly-pinkish color (I can change that very easily but I'm too lazy to render them and export the images again )

The part on the back is supposed to be fur. This is more like a cockroach-spider thing than a real spider. What do you expect, it's from a toy (actually a spooky one).
Of course these are 3D models, that is, I can rotate them etc.. they aren't just "pictures".
They are made mostly with LOTS of cutting, no overbloated plugins or anything. Just a smoother filter at the end to make it more smooth but otherwise, just cutting and moving vertices.

Cool stuff Lord_of_Chaos, especially the last one, seems like a clockwork of pixels
@PhoenixReborn: I dunno, not these days but of course I might make some when I have time (and feel like), if not for anything just to not lose my touch. These days I'm trying to set up some sound stuff though. But I am very chaotic though, I almost never finish something and then go into something else, and maybe I come back later for that to finish it, etc... So I can't say for sure.

But the first two wallpapers are too dark for me, can't see much in them... probably you have higher brightness for your monitor.

That would probably be it. Because on my monitor they aren't incredibly dark an you're able to see them quite clearly =/

Seriously. Seriously? No one has a comment? Not even a little "Yeah i agree that is cool".
I guess HC isn't as great a place as I thought. Seems people would rather spam the VW with Thanatos x.
