He regenerate 50 HP every battle round, not after being hit. Is this what you mean? It works here, I remember I kept track of this ability when fighting azures for the water walk scroll

how can he regenerate without being hit? He should lose hp in order to regenerate no? Maybe the script is messed because the commander has all skills?

No, I mean don't look for regenerate after him being hit, but on next turn of the battle. (if he was wounded, naturally)

Well no regeneration at any turn. You can check my save above if you want, my commander loses hp vs the fire elementals for ex but he never sees any hp back in the next rounds. And it's like that for all fights I've made until now.
I had to lose +- 600 sk in that fight, a hance I recover +- 500 with necromancy

Maybe it does not work on undead commanders and they forgot to disable the skill being offered. It is CURE in fact, so the game mechanics could prohibit it.
Anyway, you will greatly need dispel expert if playing TDS, as most of neutrals have fire shield and it is painless when using millions of skeletons. Azrael got leadership, lol?

Yes it must be the reason, because he is undead . If it works with other commanders later that will be a proof. Well I'll do with it. Yes I was looking for dispel (nothing in my units, no access to other castles at the moment or an emerald tower). For now leadership is still interesting because I take from time to time a second henchman (devil) so I'll have good morale. All that cost only one skeleton .
Ok, I killed everything on my zone (except the titans guarding an opal of magic, I take the boat now .... . Goal is to build capitol asap and then dwellings. It's only a question of money here since Azrael can upgrade all undeads

What for dwellings when playing Azrael? You already have the best monster in the game
I did not even build money dwellings, just I kill the barbarian then sell one or two millions of skeletons, then I am money free for all my life. The proper tactic with him is to leave all low monsters alive for a few months. Then harvest

I gave "cast paralyze after attack"(supposedly 50% chance at ace level) to Hell Barons, but it doesn't work. I don't know if that's also the case in the latest version though. I tested it on wyverns here , as they definitely have no spell resistances/immunities.

You show the effects of stone gaze. Have a look at Hell Barons experience instead. You will notice paralyze on ability slot 4 which they obviously didn't cast. They either casted stone gaze on their attacks or nothing at all. And they only 'have' a chance to paralyze on higher experience levels, and clones have no exp.
My point is "chance to paralyze" is wasted on Hell Barons but it still can be given to them via Palace of Dreams. I wonder what about other spells, that I wanted to give them.

Yes, if stone gaze is present, it over lap other in battle "stoning" effects. It is well known.
I already made a full explanation on this in Atlantis map (warned the player to never use x ability when y is already present, both can't work together)
For example, you give to one creature "cast lightning bolt on strike", then give it as well "cast iceray". Only the first will work.

How did you level-up your henchmen so fast? I'm currently somewhere in month 8 and they're 45 and 22, while Lords of Thunder get close to 2000. The second one was raised late after I broke and started to clear the map, as was useless before I gained the advantage.
The trick with Sacred Phoenixes with 10x rebirth seems to be only avaliable tactic for Orrin. Looks like I didn't know the game well enough

Inteus/The doctor is the pink player. He owns a conflux, so you can recruit phoenix from there (don't always think it is something complicate)

@Salamandre:
OK, thanks! I'll check your full warning in Atlantis map.
@Warmonger:
Xarfax starts with both henchmen already chosen.
As for tricks In this save you can see another one: Hell Barons + self-clone + hit&run(requires Palace of Dreams conquered). You could also give, say, some speed and rebirth with more castings to treants. This one should be quite reliable actually.(oh, you could add block to enhance the rebirth effect)

Quote: I'll check your full warning in Atlantis map.
No need, here I paste it for you:
In the Atlantis command center you can acquire new abilities for every of your guys. There are some precisions about this:
{Casting slow}
{Cast disrupting ray}
are no direct damage spells, and they invalidate each other if placed on the same character. Be sure to give each of them to a different guy
Also note that McKay casting slow through his battle menu is better than the {cast slow} ability, as working at advanced level, while the other is basic level
(Lightning bolt)
{Ice ray}
{Magic arrow}
are direct damage spells. Sometimes one invalidate others if placed on the same character, so to have them 100% working, place them among your characters, don't boost the same one with all, or they may not working at 100%
Of course it is about all spells in the same type columns. Direct/indirect damage, stone/paralyze, mass spells (mass slow will not work with mass curse) etc.

Ok, thanks! I guess it would be a 'slight' overkill to have one creature with a good chance of casting stone gaze, paralyze, blind and berserk
