The most disapointing was the Carolina Panthers.
They had the game literally in the bag & gave it away to Minn.
Even the people after the game said Carolina was stgupid over 5 times lol.
Thats one loss for us when it easily should of been a win

What I dont get is why you guys keep thinking the packers will win. Favre is so over the hill.

I was mostly gambling & experimenting on the first round.
Mostly picking the unlikely teams to win except the most obvious.
Saints were the only ones I actually had a feeling that they could win thier game
It's not that Favre is over the hill which I do agree to some extent.
Look at the whole team & look at Favre Stats.
Not all just him.

Hi.

Not playing, just had to pop in and say WOOOOOO Chargers!

Sorry, had to get that out. It's been so long since they did this well. Probably be a long time till it happens again, too.

Hi.

They have no consistency though. Great one week, like beating the Colts last year, then...pffft! losing to someone they should stomp the very next week.

Being from San Diego and a Charger fan has taught much humility and low expectations. Just hope they suprise everyone this year.

Last year they slumped in the last like what thier first 4 games.
Then won all the rest to make the playoffs.
Stuff happens & great teams will lose to a worst team from time to time.

grrr... how can this thread be rated just "average"?
13 pages of football goodness here, and they just are average!

Anyway...GO CRAZY FOLKS IT'S WEEK 3!!!

Carolina (W) at Tampa Bay
Chicago (W) at Minnesota
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (W)
Green Bay at Detroit (W)
Jacksonville at Indianapolis (W)
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo (W)
Tennessee at Miami (W)
Washington (W) at Houston
Baltimore (W) at Cleveland
N.Y. Giants (W) at Seattle
Philadelphia (W) at San Francisco
St. Louis (W) at Arizona
Denver (W) at New England

Monday, Sep. 25
Atlanta (W) at New Orleans

bonus material: SomethingAwful reviews of some of the games:

Panthers 14, Buccaneers 8: YARR, WHERE BE THE OFFENSE TO GO WITH DIS ‘ERE MARGINALLY NOT-SUCKY DEFENSE

Packers 7, Lions 13: THE COMBINED THROWING ACCURACY OF KITNA AND FAVRE GUARANTEE AT LEAST ONE LOOSE FOOTBALL WILL FLY TO INDIANA AND UNSTICK MY CAPS LOCK KEY

Titans 3, Dolphins 14: Not much to say about this one except a personal guarantee: anyone who watches it and cheers more than once has probably nailed his cousin at some point.

Redskins 10, Texans 7: I could buy an extra hot dog the next time I go to the RCA Dome and it would undoubtedly have more impact on the NFL than this game.

Giants 21, Seahawks 24: I’m gonna change my last name to “Manning” and forget to wash my face for a few days. See you guys in the ‘08 draft!

Rams 24, Cardinals 26: This game should prove a great opportunity to flip your TV to the church channel and beat the ell out of it with a hammer.

So you think Chris Simms is going to give up a safety.
Buccaners losing with 8 points man.
I mean 2 fieldgoals will give you 6 points & a TD 6 points.
2 point conversation would be idiotic in that point so the only way is a safety.
Poor Phil Simms, even the players think your son will cause a safety
