Playing RoE for Linux online

Hi everyone,
does anyone knows any way to play RoE for Linux online?

I'm wondering, it seems to me that it should be compatible with the Windows version but I see two problems:

1st) Is there still someone who plays RoE instead of SoD?

2nd) Using Linux I don't think I can make it work in the Zone, but perhaps there's people who directly connect via IP address ... if it is the case where can one find the requests for games? May be in IRQ?

BtW ... could these games be ratified in ToH?

Thank's in advance :-)

Your game doesn't work on zone, or you either can't get there?

If first, come there and arrange Ip game. People play that way too.

And games count for toh.

EDIT: And as long as you have latest patch, 1.4, you can play with all people, including SoD owners.

Thank's for your useful infos ... I'll surely contact you to settle for a game soon :-)

p.s.: I still have both systems on my machine (even if I feel MUCH better using Linux) ... the real problem is that I lost my SoD cd and I can't find a new copy ANYWHERE :-(
Few months ago I was in London and NO shop had it ... in Paris  all the same ... let alone here in Italy!
CDO bankrupted so ... where to buy it?
Perhaps I have to try some bids-sites online ... do you know any good one?

Thank's for your answer :-) ... but I can't get there because I don't get the files installed on Linux ... and I didn't know I could upgrade my Linux version with a Windows patch ... is that really possible?
