i have a question about EQUILIBRIS. ok well heres what happened, i modded my TGS to EQUILIBRIS, should the main screen look different or anything? how do i know it worked? I would like to help you guys out, but sadly i dont know the first thing about develpment

When you see Main Menu, look into left bottom corner of the screen. Equilibris(Balance Mod) version is typed there.

ok ya... so i modded it, but it sais on your page there are 7 new campaings.. are they set as custom campaings or should i be looking in the campaign seciton. cause i dont see it.

i love the changes though.

Why has the Gold Golem been made more powerful? It was already better then Mage.

The melee skill's description still says that it divides enemy defense by 3.

Diplomacy and Charm trigger too low. It should be 1.5 or even 2.

Vampiric touch should not be level 5, a simple dispel removes it.

I would not add your special new spells (that of potions or creatures). But if you insist doing so, I would add a (low level) vial of acid spell (destroy corpse). It should be life or order.

Addition of resurrection spell hurts life very much.

Geez Air made even better :-(

Devil just too good the way it was, why making it better?

Creature +2 spellpoints is not a good change I believe. First it makes them able to cast twice under certain conditions (Nightmare needs only a Mana Flare), second, enemy imps were NOT cheap.

Ballista move 8->16: bad idea and also it has no effect. (movement was already limited by 15-30).

Crusader even better - well ask someone who has played vs life. They already did too much damage.

You have just made Might's only decent unit (cyclopes) much weaker. But if you insist doing so, give them some movement at least. You are making them almost unplayable.

Genies movement lowered to 25. Actually, it was 25. And if you ask me, it should be upped to 30 so that genies move fast enough. Now order army is too slow. Though you can go Titans. Well, if you cn afford them, that is.
Genies spell power lowered not a good idea I think. Make Nagas better instead.

yeah, and dispel removes a ton of powerful spells.  guardian angel, dragon strength, etc.

maybe you should make DISPEL/CANCELLATION L2  or did you already do that

That's why some level 5 spells are not that great.
Just when you would get use of it, it's already removed. I wouldn't waste my time casting vampiric touch, unless vs neutrals.

They should make Sanctuary not a mass spell, but more like cloud of confusion spell. So it can only be cast on 3-4 stacks max


Also they should tone the Combat and melee skills down 75% from there current strengths. Make the creatures more of a factor in the game.

And also, should make an option to beable to remove Immortality potions from the Blacksmith. Most maps that are being made now are trying to find ways to take them out, would be nice to just uncheck them outta blacksmith as an option.

btw, these are serious suggestions

p.s. I know it wont happen, but H4 desperately needs a RMG. Can you guys please make one of them, so I can come back and play again

first of all they SHOULDN'T do anything, it comes on a silver platter Jinx so don't yapp about more, fixed a lot of stuff already.

and about the combat and melee check, same advice as i gave stinky, read the readme and then start whining about something that's not already been addressed !

We know Valky. Thats all you are about, making stupid attacks, but it obviously makes you feel big and tuff. What ever it takes to make you feel important.

@ Camel, I did hear there was an attempt bt slava to incorperate some random features etc, but i didnt think his version actually generated totally blind layouts etc.

And that was my point of asking for a RMG, if the current beta version sucks it needs somemore attention.

Fixed maps was the death of H3. And I fear that H4 will die much much faster than H3 did without a RMG.  But just like in H3, you same group of 15 players can carry on the H4 flame playing Circle for Life and Imperial Prison for next 2 years. If you can honetly say you still enjoy that?....... Then you need to get some fresh air.

You missed my point INsatiable. It dont matter what the map is, any fixed map after a max of 5 plays is to patternized.  

I have been playing Heroes 3 Random maps lately with a buddy that just found Heroes 3.  And even tho heroes is so limited feeling compared to Heroes 4, I find it funner and more refreshing since the maps are unknown. I find it much more thrilling to NOT know whats down the road. Or where the good artifacts are, or more important where my opponent is and how to get to him.  I cant simply apply a pattern of path and timing to beable to go get him and Know exactly what my heroes levels will be when I get there.
