HC statistics
Yes... I spent some time looking at 10 pages of HC member list and to make some stats. Enjoy...
Legend:
Looked - 10 pages I looked
HC - estimated for all HC members

Notes:
(*) Two members had -4 and -5 post count respectively. Supposed cause - deleted double-posts or consistence fails.

(***) As I know, we have one. Statistical methods error.
Strange facts:
Negative postcount - 20-30 members estimated.
One member had 'Junior Member' status instead of tavern dweller. EDIT: already noticed by Dingo.
One member had no post-count status, but had a few yellow stars and correponding postcount.
Conclusions:
About 500 heroes even haven't left any posts here. Deleted toss, I suppose?
Most part (a Legion) of members have 3 or less posts.
More than 80% (>2000) of members are Tavern Dwellers. 20% of members have done 90% of posts!
99% of members have two red stars.
There are more members with 'occupation' field filled that with custom status defined. Only about 17% have custom status.
The classes of banned, disgraceful, bad-mannered, moderators, supreme heroes, legendary spammers and responsible heroes seem to be less than 1% (30) of member (each).
We have 300 +QP's in 123K posts. So, there is 0.2% of bonus posts. 99.8% of HC posts is toss.
P.S. No rumors above. All info is got from the official memberlist. Errors may be.

Statistics is the most evil kind of lies.
If I had a different username, the number of "statistical" legendary heroes would be doubled, but if Aculias would be called Sailuca, your number of Legendary heroes would be 0.
What I am trying to say here is that you can tell all sorts of crap and it would all be true according to statistics, as long as your calculations are based on the right group of HC members' profiles. To make it all true, you'd have to count every single account.

-> You don't need to estimate that! Sort by post count, and then select Last page, and Count!

-> There is something in the scripts which sometimes make it so. I haven't figured out how it works.

-> No the common thing is that they register and then never post at all. It's alot more than 500, but most of them with zero post count have been pruned. The ones Mods can't prune are those who created the account during the last two months.

-> Hmmm... yes... This can be arrived at by looking at the middle page when sorting by post count. You'd find a score of members with 3 posts.

-> Why don't you sort by quality points and count it out? (You can't get all since penalties and bonuses cancel each other out in some cases.)
-> I looked at the +QPs and came up with 586. (But more has been assigned, as noted above.)

Hexa is a mod. We also have more mods there names are; Deth8, Vesuvius, Zud, KittenAngel, SapphireRavyn, Treupp, Gangrail, RMS, Lith-Maethor, Lich_King, Kuma, Djive, UnkaHaakon, and our newest mod DragonSister.

Stats: Useful, no. Fun to play with, yes.
First, for the record, HC does not only have 10 pages of members. There are 130 pages. The sort function, activated by clicking on the category heading you want sorted, is extraordinarily useful.
Regarding QP categories:
There are 5 honorable heroes (ThE_HyDrA, bort, Djive, Shae_Trielle, and Oldtimer). Djive is, obviously, a mod but was apparently quite busy collecting qps before joining the Mod Squad. ThE_HyDrA has a ratio of one quality point for every 12.43 posts, with a total of 25 qps. This is the highest qp-to-post ratio of all non-tavern dwellers. (Alas, even HyDrA cannot hope to match the amazing feat of cecil, a tavern dweller who managed to get a qp for a full 50% of his two posts... ) ThE_HyDrA is also the only honorable hero who has less than five yellow stars.
There are 15 responsible heroes. Their yellow star ranks range from the Known (Wub, LichKing) to the Legendary (Lord_Woock).
There are 50 promising heroes, four of whom are now mods. At least one promising hero is a second account (Milena & Lady_Milena). There are also 35 heroes who only need one more qp to reach promising status. The two mods among them, however, should not hold thier breath.
Coming from the other side: There are 11 disgraceful heroes. One of them, Malice, managed to get -12 qps on only 9 posts! I can only assume some of the slapped posts were subsequently deleted, but the penalties remained.
There are 19 bad-mannered heroes. Again, a few have more penalties than they have posts, most notably Xavier1942001, who has a single post and five penalties. There are also seven tavern dwellers whose one and only post was slapped ( er, thanks for dropping by, folks).
And now I have to do real work.
