7. Can't decide. All equally good except ghost dragons

Hmmm, very hard to choose... I like the combination of Undead units, cause they have cool specials all in all, and no morale.... I also like the combination of dragons..I mean
1. azure drags
2. black drags
3. golden drags
4. rust drags
5. faerie drags
6. crystal drags
7. titans or archangels
This is what I like best, but usually it comes late in the game... I don't like crossing units from multiple towns because of the morale penalty

By the time you can afford such a combination, you'll have quite a bunch of morale boosting artifacts

Yup! but only if I use them.... and as I most like combined artifacts (see Wizard's Well) I usually don't use those artifacts. It's mainly a habit from playing with Undead, when I usually sold those artifacts for scrap. ;P

Generally the best creatures are the black dragon and the efretti sultan ....
but if you want the levels :
1.Master Gremlin
2.Upg Archers
3.Upg Elves or Cerberus
4.Ogre Magi or Swordsman
5.Pit Fiend or Gorgon
6.Efretti Sultan or Cyclops
7.Black Drg or Archangel
