Scouts
Well, actualy mostly in MP game in beginning of game is very important to choose and equip scout well. What scout is best, and how to equip him? (with creatures, artifacts, whatever).Think well, cuz if you lose scout-vs-scout battle, you will need rehire hero and lose 2500 bucks.
I think its good to take Dungeon hero with metor shower speciality, he has scouting also and he can do some damage for main enemy's army , if he will be atacked. Equip with harpies, and as much spell power amplifiers.
Your suggestions? (would be great if you suggest for every race of h3)

i reckon that dwarf dood who has scouting and logistics as his specialty, equipped with the compass and grand elves and dwarves and centaurs, or even sharpshoters.

YEAH HE IS
yeah this dwarfdood is the only fast dwarf, and he has a specialty of logistics, and starts of with advanced logistics, and basic scouting. so he is very fast at expert logistics and can see further into uncharted territory.
so he's a pretty good scout. espesially if you give the compass of movement which increases his movement on land and sea by 25%.. i think.

Csatle : Mullich or Edric
Rampart: Kyrre
Tower : I guess Piquedram, but he has no gremlins so i wouldn't pick him. Maybe Astral?
Inferno: Fiona
Necropolis: Aislinn
Dungeon: Deemer
Stronghold: Shiva
Fortress: Korbac

This compass is from HOMM 2.
There´s no artefact in HOMM 3, which increases your movement on land and on sea!
necklace of ocean guidance = movement on sea
boots of speed = movement on land
gloves = movement on land
The only way to "increase" your movement on land and on sea is the "admirals hat" in HOMM 3 SoD, which allows you to ride further on land on the same day after you have landed with your boat on the shore.....
So.........play it again, Sam....

indead deemer is the perfect scout when equiped with harpies and some power. also the logistics guys. i particulary like kirre.
