Anybody know this?
Two questions:
1. Is it the same thing when you have a hero in your town or you havent got one , when you are under sige and your castle turets fire? I mean do they do the same damage or not?
2. I was isra lv 19 expert necro with necro amplifire , attacked exactly 100 horned deamons and got 45 skelis back . What the f***? Shuldnt it be more?

With expert necromancy and necro amplifier, your hero has 40% Necromancy skill. But the necromancy doesn't work the way you think it does. It's not as if with each new level you have 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65% etc. No, the specialty multiplies the level of your necromancy skill by 1.05.

So you are teling me that if I had just necro hero with necro amplf. i would gain 40 skelis and the difrence between ordinary necro hero and the one with speciality necromancy in this case would be 5 skelis? I dont think so. If this is true what is the point of playing with isra or vidomina? I would allways choose ghaltran.

IMHO the damage ratio doesn´t depend on your hero, but on the attacking hero!
If this hero has the skill "armorer", your towers will do more (double?) damage. The same result comes along, when the attacking hero casts "airshield".

I didnt mean it like that. I meant is there difrence in damage of castle turets when you have a hero in town and when you have none( in town )?

Even if you have necromancy skill with ampiflier and soul prison and you kill 100peasants you will get only few skelies, but if you kill 100 champions for exaple you you will get large number of skelies so it depends how creatures you are fighting are strong.
For another question arrow towers do damage the same with hero or not but if hero has tactics(or ballistics or smth) you can control the towers and i bet they will do more damage.BTW the tower in the middle does the biggest damage. In SoD arrow towers gains experiance(depends on how many battles they fought, but if enemy takes the town experians drops to zero). Then the towers begin to do ~200 dmg they can save your butt.

Perhaps you didn´t know, but the number of skeletons you will get after battle does not belong to the number of stack you´re fighting against, but on the number of hitpoints the enemy stack has completely. So therefore it is possible that you get as much skeletons as killed units,(but not more as...).....

OK. Listen to this. I was Isra lv 16 with exp. necro and necro amplif. I attacked hobgoblins (about throng) and got back about 55 % skelis. So how did I now get 55 %, and the first time when I was experianced and attacked stronger troops got only 45 % skelis back?

yeah you take piquedram in an end fight against crag hack and then try and convince yourself that you fight at the same terms. Because after the fight you will notice that that wasnt the case

In a match there are still many decisions to be made, many things that can go wrong and lots of unkowns so that Crag's advantage might not turn out in a victory inevitably.
Read again. I said overestimated not non-existant, relating to some comparisons made by users who tend to blow up the whole thing a bit.
BTW to give an example where you confront Piquedram with Crag is not only bad arguing, it's cruel.

oh thats sweet, and what to you base those statements on? the time you beat the comp even if you had Valeska as main and comp had gundula?
Learn this n00b, in a game where the standings are somewhat equal the choice of hero can be the difference.
I dont know about playing the comp but in multiplayer games that isnt concidered "overestimated".
Now go back playing comp and see if you can will against it using a magic hero...yaaay

I can imagine you experienced players all playing Stronghold, all applying the same hard-proven strategy. There must be at least a few surprises aside from the heroes you play with. Even as a noob, I would be bored to play like this.
Ask yourself, how often it occurs that a game developes equally for all players, so that it is justified to underline the heroes' importance the way you do.
