Season Ending: MVP and Medal of Honor suggestions wanted
Hi Guys,
Those of you that have read on the Homm4 side know that the current season will close one week from today. It will then go through a two week restructuring as Ves combines Homm3 and Homm4 into one tournament, which he will be running himself. I also see that he has decided to carry over a few more of the icons then I originally understood. I will see to it that everyone gets the prestige and medals they have coming. I will be working on that right after finishing this. When I am finished I will post again here. After I make that post if you are still missing something please either post it here, or email me at raven@toheroes.com
I am also looking for suggestions for MVP and Medal of Honor recipients. What I would like is for you players to make suggestions between now and Sunday night. I will then take those suggestions on Monday and run them through with Honor Council, etc. and make a decision. I ask for your input because well you guys are the ones that have played. You have a much better feel for who is deserving then I do. Especially on the Medal of Honor issue.

ok.. here is my favorites 
for MVP : i have 2 candidats .... madmartigan and tewilligar
for honour medals i have : stuff , hexa , mrva_hg , titan888 and Daou_Datourator (especially ''daou'' showed incredible honour for a newbie)

Honor medal candidates: GandalfvBalrog, Klauts, Hamsi, Nebucchad, Madmartigan, Titan888 ok thats enough player for u to pick from LOL!@
Edit: raven the merits of a MVP is he/she has contributed lots to MAH or the gaming community in general right?

I have no candidates to vote for, cuz I did not get many games played this season :/

Nope, but the MVP award does affect a player's Honor Rating. Anyone who receives an MVP will automatically start each season with Highest Honor--100%.
Read the ToH History Pages and you can find several good examples of the traits that constitute MVP material (Zud, jb239, Greystole, LOK, Destro.......)

I myself think Saint BG should get the MVP award due to the fact, he was one the most active in MaH, and he is a very well mannered player, and would do the MVP medal justice.
Medal of Honor I would vote for Wanderer VEX or Bpanik.

Still looking for MVP and Medal of Honor Suggestions.
I have added all of the missing icons / points that have been sent to me. I also updated the Medals and Awards page. You will notice that I placed the awards for all of the tournaments ran this season and added the new CLAN Awards as well. Did a little restoration to the main page including announcing a date change for Clans. They will end Wednesday rather then Thursday. That way I can add the awards for clans on Thursday, which will include some rankings points. This will become important as you may go up a rank and then when we do vet icons for the new combined season you will get a slightly better icon. Hopefully this will inspire a strong end to the season. If you find an error somewhere or something missing, please email me at raven@toheroes.com!

Well I did not have a good season because I was I guess i can say losing it playing the game but my own MVP would go to Hexa & Rychenroller for dealing with all I dealt with playing this game & I apreciated it.
I guess the same for the medals also.

hamsi is an honorable player... and Titan888 are some people IMO is worthy of such an prestigeful award.
But the most worthy IMO are two now inactive players... archdevil_666 (notmytohhandle) and motorschaaf.
Its a shame IMO to see heroes3 seasons die off and these two are yet to get a mention.

personally i dont see myself for mvp or honourmedal because i whine a lot in games and i posted too much complains in heroescommunity about misguided tournements and dishonorable players, ima not politic guy who likes to look good to everyone
im only standart player who reports his loses without complains , who respect to opponents and who plays fair...so mvp and honourmedals are for players who showed something extraordinaire in gaming... we cant give prizes for something every players in toh must do in standart gaming..

well suggestions of a veteren...
beeing awarded with an honor medal - and even more with an MVP award is truely the greatest honor if think about getting it awarded by peeps you never met in person.
to trust someone who might live on the other side of the world is hard - but if you get told that a ton of peeps from all over the world think that you are a honorable and fair person is really an awesome feeling.
in season (i forgot number) i received an honor medal and you know what ? even if i dont play homm anymore ( you'll never know ) im still damn proud of having received this award. the games i won and the 1st place i reached wouldnt have ment a **** if my opponents and/or the community didnt respect or trust me.
i had friends - i had enemys in homm but i think i could allways say both respected me as a fair opponent and player
imo the MVP award should go to a player who thinks and feels same and who is like i mentioned respected as a player by friend AND his enemys he might have and one player comes to my mind - Rychenroller. i truely reget of not having had the chance to play rychen more often.

Thanks for that motor, feelings are likewise. Not sure of my eligibility though, since I hadn't played a myths game in about 4 months due to certain farcical situations. But since that is all said and done, and the aforesaidmentioned parties are absent, I reinstalled homm3 last night and look forward to kicking ass and having my ass kicked once more.
MVP or no, its still nice to be thought of in the community like that and it makes it worthwhile, even with a medal beside your name or no. Motor is the same, and he would get a vote from me for MVP...if he wasnt inactive for the last 6(?) months

MVP....
IMO, to give somebody the MVP because they played the most games is not a good idea, thats what the Madman awards are for.
I have been reading these boards (reading yes, posting no)
Just some names that come to mind.
Rych - indeed you didn't play many games, however, nobody played many games. At times seeming harse, you have consistently provided valuable input to the tournament coordinators and admins.
Hexa - has volunteer an large amount of time to this board which is an extremely important part of this tournament. Also has provided valuable input to the tourmament staff.
Tew and Bp also come to mind, however, they were considered staff and staff are not eligible, but none the less, note worthy.

I would of voted for ya too tew but it was said Any types of volunteers are not allowed for MVP etc.
I also never agreed on voting for the players that played the most games.
Sure they play many variety of players but it does not make them totally honourable players.

So in the matter of fact that i have never played an onlinegame until today, i know my vote will not count that much (), and i canīt say anything about MVP, but perhaps about Honor.
Honor means for me also to help everyone (even the noobs...) wherever they need assistance to get a better player, and not to be overbearing īcoz of the own skill.
So my vote for this goes to Hexa, hamsi128 and Nebukka.
Always helpful and friendly.....nothing more to say...
