custom events

Is it possible to hide the scripts for custom triggerable events?

I have noticed that when looking at some maps with the editor, I see that an event causes the trigger of custom event (and gives a name for that custom event).  However when I go to look to see what that event does, it is not on the list.   That tells me that the author of the map created an event (destroy bomb, etc.) and then somehow hid that event from the list of custom events shown by the map editor.

How is that done?

How would the author then recall the script for that event to edit it some more?

How could I get to look at the script for that event on a map made by another author?

You can see a list of all triggerable events, but not where they are, by temporarily adding a triggerable event and then looking at the drop down list of events currently in the map.
