Aye, it happened a very long time ago. Many many centuries ago, I was an ordinary Dwarf mindin his own damn business. For some reason I went to this forest, dun remember why after all this time, and then someone started havin' funny ideas and cursed the forest. I was there, so it affected me too. It sort of kept me alive, but never stopped my body from rotting. Go figure.
Question to... mister Anderson.
What are mr Daniels' plans once, or should I say if, he becomes president of the Core, and which bits of that are your ideas?

Clarification: I do read this thread, I was just late in responding. So there.
Since the game has already moved on, I won't answer the question, (I'm not sure I'd know anyway . It was just useful for the storyline) but I want you lot to know I do read this thread and want to participate.

"A good question," said Jon Anderson. "His plans are most obviously to set up better situations that will hold a more peaceful grounds in the Core. There are many races that despise each other and although there isn't any blaring external war. There are many internal ones of prejudice, manipulation, and propaganda. He plans to change all that. I give all the credit of such brilliance to Mr. Daniels."

I may indeed have felt drawn to her. She seemed like one of those women than can understand or take the time to try to. She seems like an enjoyable person but her affections for MM seem much more than towards anyone else. So to hope is futile, I'll say nothing more on the matter. I'll now leave you as I have some Forsaken one's to decapitate.

Vadskye thought back to that moment when Dean died...
At first all I knew was pain. Horrible, blinding pain from the dragon's death scream. I slumped to the ground with the others, still reeling from shock. When I awoke, I didn't know what was going on. I stumbled aimlessly, almost walking into Gorman. "It's Dean," he said. "...huh?" I was still confused. "Dean- he died. Look," he said, pointing to the pile of ashes smoking on the forest floor. "Oh..." I slumped to the ground again. This was really not good...

Dean died? Wow man, that sucks. I mean...jeez. Did it hurt? I guess Mighty Mage might feel some sorrow about the fact that somone just died but considering his mind is elsewhere it hasn't yet hit him completly. Kind of like his lack of reaction when Larac got 'hugged' by that tree back in New Mahogany.
Mighty Mage replies:

You're making it sound like all the crystals are my responsibility. Technically the only crystal I HAVE to be worried about is the Zypher's Emerald which is located in the eye of that looming storm at the edge of the forest.

Vadskye has the Land's Opal and I currently have the Flaming Ruby. Eventually I guess we should figure out who gets what. I suppose since Vadskye killed the gaurdian of the Flaming Ruby he should get it and I don't know what we should do with the Land's Opal. Iy was Mvassilevs until his death than It fell into the hands of RSF (and we know what happened there) and now Vadskye currently has it.
In conjuction with my answer there, Vadskye, my next question id for you. Have you thought much about the future and any reprocutions your actions may get? For instance, once the Royal Order finds out you killed a gaurdian are you fearful of what they may do? Remember, they may or may not rule out any heroic acts.

Sorry for waiting so long... anyway, here's my reply.
Vadskye: "Well, I never really thought of it that way, but I'm not that worried. I'm hard to find if I don't want to be found, and I'll be very hard to find if I get wind that the Order is after me. Right now, though, I'm hoping the fact that we saved the world will trump what I did to save it. And if we fail to save the world, then there won't be an Order to come after me anyway. So no, I'm not worried about reprecussions.
Vadskye: "Now, I'm wondering... RSF, why did you decide to go north in Lords of Tanaran?"

Well first off I didn't go north. Ilvia went north. And she did not go north. She was carried away by a group of female bandits. My next post is going to be me talking to the other man I tried to save.
My question goes to Shadowcaster. Often times your characters seem to be run separate from the other stories, however they always work their way in to find some crucial part in the story that simply changes everything, but at the same time the story you have written separate still remains to be a focal point in the threads.
My question is this:
Do you come up with everything as you go or do you plan things out? How do you think you do what I described?

The only thing I have not come up with on the spot was the beginning to my solo thread. I spent several days fine-tuning and editing it so that people might get excited about the thread, which I do plan to start sometime in the near future if all goes well. The rest I have come up with on the spot, including the LHW summary, which took 12 hours to write. I just wish I had that kind of free time now. The summary would be up to date if I did. And now on to the second question.
I like to begin a story on my own, and I make it a habit not to interact with any characters other than my own in the first post of each RP that I join. That trend usually continues, unless another character actively seeks to interact with me, as was the case in Tanaran. I like to develop the story and personality of my character, and will therefore frame up his own plot and situation before I even think about joining the larger scope of things. When I feel that my character's story is losing its captivating quality all new stories share for both reader and writer, then I seek to throw a twist into the mix by connecting him with other characters, who have usually interacted with each other and provided a nice environment for me to delve into.
Take HotG, for instance. I guided my character to the Order of the Sacred Sword after he had discovered his roots. His story of the mystery behind his strange talents, his family, and his purpose will continue on, but not before I visit the Order and find some new guidance to my character's next goal. If Mordith rejects Lokali, then I'll improvise, but even my interactions with the three hunters leads me closer to characters that may tie into Lokali's storyline somehow.
Question to Woock: Do you plan to leave Silx behind in Tanaran?
