Trials: Lord of Tanaran RPG! - OOC
Please make your OOC comments here instead of clogging up the main thread. You can put some in there if you need to make a point that's is more effective being said in that thread, but try to keep most OOC comments in here. Thank you. Just forum policy.

SillyWabbit. I don't think you realize that this thread isn't very active. It's only been a couple days. It took me 3 months to get The Saga of Glade River Valley off the ground. I had to rewrite the thread several times to get people interested. And even then I had to send IM's to everyone. And now I have 5 people in the thread and it's been going consistantly for a couple months now. I've IM'ed some people about this great thread, don't give up so quickly. I know some members that would be interested in this. Just get this off the ground and you have yourself a QP. If you ignore it and write it off, then it WILL die.
I made a map of the land we are in up to this point.

Yeah I guess you're right. I just saw those other threads with like 29 pages and then I saw this thread with like 2 posts and I though, "umm...this aint working." But you do have a point and I will give this a shot then. Thanks for shedding some new light. I just thought it would either be an immediate boom or an immediate bust!

A couple more abilities for Xerxes:
Aging - Special strike; ages targets, slowing and weakening them.
Terror - Some enemies, when hit by a death knight, will become afraid and flee. Depends on willpower.

Undead and Troll are both races.... I guess if you're saying he's undead but he was formerly a troll then that would work, but you can't let him have both troll and undead racial abilites.
Those spells sound great to me shadow. If you guys have ideas please put them here. I just did this real quick. I know for a fact that there is tons of room for improvement on this.

LOL.. I just read back and noticed i used the word "unit" instead of "enemy" sometimes. I guess it's obvious what kind of games I play a lot. I will have to do more proofreading in the future.

Hey I created a map for this thread at the top of the page. Is everything complete and correct?
I also think it would be a good idea to choose a back-up GM in case you leave or are absent for a while or simply another person to help manage the thread.

GM means the director of the roleplay. General Manager. It's also called the DM or Dungeon Master. Same thing. Silly Wabbit runs this thread. He is the GM of this thread.

Wow that map looks nice. It is accurate, but remember this is still all apart of the 1st region of Keldoss(hope that word isn't used by any other type of RPG). I wanted GM to stand for Game Master...same thing as Dungone Master but Dungeon Master sounds so D&D...which isn't a bad thing but I just wanted to be different. Also, sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have been a bit tied up but will get right back on it. Again, nice map redsox fan.

Oh almost forgot. Yes, I think the addition of more skills by quest is a good idea. I just made 3 at first just because I thought it might get out of hand but I can see that it shouldn't be a problem.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to team up with my character. Perhaps create a relationship whether it's strictly political or perhaps more personal. Just wanted to throw out a few bones to get some more interaction with other members.
I like the idea of parallel stories, but I think a small amount of interconnection would make it more interesting. Nothing so much that we rely upon each other. That's the beauty of this thread. So if anyone is serious about this thread, then I'd like to make some sort of alliance.

Yeah, I think some alliances would be good. Let's not make this a Let's Have War thread, but all vs. all has little plot development. Besides, my character can make you rich...
