Heroes of Might and Magic: The Movie
Originally, I planned to start this thread later, but, seeing as for some reason all my previous ones have been deleted(possibly because I didn't write on them enough, but my computer was down), I have started this one.
For a while I have thought that a Heroes movie should be made. Now, after seeing the movie "Tomb Raider" I am convinced.
The movie "Dungeons and Dragons" was modled after a game, and was bad, "Tomb Raider" was a step up, but not much, and the Mario Movie, whatever that was, sucked(even though I haven't seen it, I've heard enough to be sure). Now, a Heroes movie should be made, to become the first movie modled after a game to succeed! Because Heroes has one thing that these other games don't have - campaigns. And, the campaigns have storylines. Therefore, a Heroes movie could me modled after one of the campaigns. All you would have to do is get a team of talented writers together, to create a juicy, intricate plot(storyline) from the campaigns. I know it could suceed!
First, I think a movie telling the story of Roland and Archibald's conflict would be needed. Then, a Shadow of Death movie, followed by a Restoration of Erathia movie, and an Armageddon's Blade movie. Then, dare I say it, a Heroes IV movie! MWAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA! Vote people, vote!

hey, i think you've got something there.... i like it... and i woul definitly see it if they made a such thing.. anyway, if they do.. it should have the same settings/backround as that new movie "Lord Of The Ring" or something like that....

YEah!
 (Blizzard) YEAH! They must make a movie! But not like lord of the rings.. That is only about humans fighting orcs...... YUCK! Many creatures must be in it! maybe making it an 3do movie... because it's very hard to make those creatures in real...... (With jurrasic park graffics maybe?)
BUT NOT ONLY ABOUT HUMANS! THAT WOULD SUCK!!

Good Good....
We gotta have an English human as the enemy who wants to take throne for all Myth land.... and HOMM creatures have to start an army in each part of land(Lava, Swamp, etc.) and kill him and his rule/armies to get their peace back and have everything neutral again... but alot of gore and bloody skies during the big wars and Problems during the movie

I love seeing Fantasy movies hey will make a flop of it. How can you make a movie that would keep all of HOMM in it.

After I watched "Shrek" - which is really funny and good - I was amazed how beautiful it was made. With today`s tehnology everything`s possible but I want to see great story in a movie not just effects.

Should it be animation movie perhaps?...
I think animation movie would be better choice than some crappy computer animations with real people. I hate that the graphics look like cut and paste stuff. Like images have been glued to picture and actors are looking like stupid because they're in reality only looking empty blue walls.
Maybe Final Fantasy movie could show the way for the other fantasy movies or maybe Lord of the rings will be good...
Any thoughts about this one?
BTW I hate Final Fantasy from all my heart and will not in any circumstances go see the movie.

I forgot the Shrek!
Haven't seen it though but what I have seen of it, it looks really cool.
Maybe Shrek styled animation with some serious stuff in the story but also some humour?

In the upcoming Heroes movie that we are talking about, right?

no, we need it to be Reality.. not computers.. even though the game is over technology... also the dragons should have Jurassic Park effects..

Which topic? Which armies? Which heroes?
How many hours of play does it take to get a handle on the different possibilities. someone that does not know
the game will not get it.

Basically, movies based on games, especially on fantasy games, suck. Dungeons and Dragons: sucked. Tomb Raider: sucked. Final Fantasy: sucks. I'm starting to see a pattern here. I say don't try, you'll only make a worthless suckhole.

NO !! Most movies made from games do suck.

not this movie.. it wont suck.. no way... and tomb raider did sucked.. but some of the chicks in the movies were snowin hott as hell.. HAHA!!

 (Pyre) How could you call the tomb raider film stupid! I saw him last night and it was a cool movie! (lara croft was HOT!) But i want to see jurrasic park 3 !!! That movie comes almost here! I can't wait!
