How does reporting 3 player games work?
Ive read this: "For a 3 player game, the 1st place winner reports win vs 3rd place loser. 2nd place player does not report, and win/loses nothing. Winner gets bonus 5 pts."
But how does toh know that is a 3 player game? How does the winner get the 5 bonus points.. and how does the loser know who the winner is?

and 4 player as well
i played a 4 player FFA recntly and i am not sure if anyone got the bonus. BTW this could be a good way to get Vets to play lower ranks, they will still get the bonus points even though they outrank their opponents greatly

Well hereīs how i think it works (donīt kill me if iīm wrong). You play a 3 player game and 1 is victorious. The first player to be killed is the loser (go figure that the first 2 to fight will prolly not win). The loser waits till the game is finished before reporting.
The winner e-mails (or tells the loser if heīs still online) he has won the match. You report your game as a 1vs1 and as extra information you say it was a 3 player game. Probably the map will show it was since you need a 3 player map to play a 3 player game 
For a 4 player game it should work the same, only difference is you report it as a 4 player game. Ves said he always reads the comments, so as he sees it was a 3-4 player game he will give you the extra points.

when u submitt a win or loss, where u think "detail" is for; to tell a joke?
That's were u state it was a 3ffa-game and who was the non-reporting 2nd party.

I have asked the same question to somone in TOH some time ago. I got the answer that winner reports against looser. The points are as for a two player game, and the 2nd player gets no points at all. The bonus had been taken away due to some automacy in the reporting procedures.
For a 2 vs 2 game one winner should report against one looser. The other winner against the other looser and points as for a normal 1 vs 1 game.

Blankpage said it right, theres your answer. In homm4 the automation is being built so that reporting 3 player and 4 player games will be easier whether for allies or freeforall.
