Make your Game faster!!
Hi,
in the link u can find a little txt.file which will make your combats and there your game faster, and reduce your online time by 1 hour if u play 1o1 and about 2 hours if u play 2o2. Simply copy it in your heroes-data folder.
Have fun with it!

yup, thanks for your efforts!
I would say this is the 2nd greatest "achievement" for HoMM 3 (the rmg discovery being #1) since it speeds up multiplayer a lot. Should have been released years ago hehe.
However, it doesn't seem to work with my Heroes Complete (which I thought was equivalent to SoD) though. Any ideas?

Hi Haile,
i dont know if it works with complete too. Normally it should work with it. But if not, it shouldnt be any problem for u to do it for complete too, as uve already some experience with templates. As i dont wana tell everything in public send me an email if u need further details. Would be cool if u could make a similar file for complete if this one does not work with it.

works now with complete. I think the file was corrupted when I did right click & "save link as..." on the dw site. Left clicking and saving did the trick. Now I have gnolls on speed... woohoo =)

Hey there Xarfax.
Seems like I have a problem...have an english version of SOD, 3.2 but when putting the file in data folder I get this error:
Unexpected Program Termination
Initialization failed!
And as soon as I take it out, works normal again. Any idea what it might be?
Btw, thanks for it, for sure I can use extra time. :=)

Hi Nebs... great to see you're still around =)
I had exactly the same problem you mentionned. I'm sure by downloading the txt-file got corrupted, so that it ain't in "Heroes"-format any more (although you can still open it with editor). I remember similiar problems with the rmg.txt files some time ago.
It would be best to upload a zipped version, I guess. Until then, try downloading the textfile the way I mentionned it in my previous post.

best way is to copy all the data in the file that xarfax posted, then make a new text.file then paste all into that, save the new file as cranim.text and put in data folder inside h3 directory.
this version will work with 3.2 or 4.0 but is also easy to rework for 1.4.
