for homm2 players
who do you think is better?
black dragon or titan
i dont know whether to choose warlock or wizard

Well, warlock vs wizard. Hmm.
Warlock:
level 1- Centaur
level 2- Gargoyle
level 3- Griffin
level 4- Minotaur-> Minotaur King
level 5- Hydra
level 6- Green Dragon-> Red Dragon-> Black Dragon
The centaur is the only shooter and it is weak. Gargoyles, Griffins, and Dragons all fly and so will cross the battlefield in 1 turn. Minos are fast, especially the upgrade, and Hydras are slow.
Wizard:
level 1- Halfling
level 2- Boar
level 3- Iron Golem-> Steel Golem
level 4- Roc
level 5- Mage-> Archmage
level 6- Giant-> Titan
Rocs are fliers, boars are fast, golems are slow, halflings and mages shoot. Giants are slow grunts but when upgraded become titans that shoot.
Taking just drakes and titans, I prefer titans. When I played H2 and was a wizard they were just really great units, plus you need just 1 upgrade instead of 2. They can not only beat dragons one on one but they are also way better against, say, Cyclops because they can shoot and have no melee penalty.

Actually, one on one black drags tend to win a tad more often.
Also, Wizard and Warlock aren't necessarily the best possible choice (keyword: skellies).

as long as you have expert necromancy

cold ray or lightning bolt
whenever i use them they do little damage
when enemy uses them the do much damage

I think generally lighting blot ( ) is a bit stronger (hey, it wouldn't cost 1 more mp if it wasn't, would it?). And about the "strongerism" of the computer's magic... I guess it's either you halucinating, or your opponent's heroes tend to have a higher spell power than yours.

Lightning bolt is stronger, does 25 damage times spell power as opposed to 20 times spell power for cold ray. Spell power is affected by lvl of hero and any artifcats.
Yes mass damage spells like chain lightning and armageddon wont affect black dragon but it will hurt your other troops!

On a M map, by the time you buy your first titan, I'm already marchin round yer castle with 7 boners and 600 skells.

Exactly. This is because the towns were designed so that some would be good on small maps (Knight, Barbarian) some would be good on medium maps (Sorcreess, Necro) and some would be good on large maps (Wizard, Warlock).
The point of H2 never was that the creatures on the top lvl would be equal, it was that the map's size would give advantages to a particular town type.
And don't say that Titans are too expensive. If theres enough resources and enough time, theyre worth it. Ill take a Wizard town over any other town in the game after 4-5 months.

Yeah, but dragons are the easiest to get.
For warlocks kingdom all you need to build is dwellings and youll have the black tower in no time.
(Of course, dragons are expensive too, but its easier to get, at least easier than titans).

You're quite right when u say, H2 rules, It really kicks my ass lol
And the discussion if BD or Titan is better, may be as old as the game itself 
I can't really tell for I mostly play necromancer or Knight. But ur shure right when u say that this game is great!
The music is quite cool, to (the midi ones are as good as the stereo ones^^)
Did I allready say that H2 is cool?^^

Knight is good as long as you have many swordsmen, or necromancer when you have lord vampire (regains hp).
Crusader is also good, but i never liked bone dragons.
And you are right

Homm2 does kick ass
yea, the only prob that knight and nec have, is imo the lack of ranged troops and, in the case of knight, the lack of flyers. But the fact that crusaders "grow" very fast and that they are the cheapest 6th lvl creature makes them good^^ And the 2 attacs ability really rules the field! (be careful, never lat your skels attack the crusader if ur not sure to kill him 1hit )
at www.heroesportal.ne/maps.php you can get many maps for H2 - H4 (maps for all addons, too) i found some nice maps there

Oh, I do like Bonedrags! The look so cool^^ I love that grim look on the faces of the skeletton-ones in the nec town (skel, liche, Bdrag) And besides - he is not THAT weak^^
