Argh.........

Why did they lock my thingy mabobber??
I don't feel special. And not only cuz of that.
My bf, the guy I wrote about, dumped me today, in a supposedly "nice" way. His excuse was that he was losing all his friends, which he was cuz they all hate my guts why I still don't know, and probably because I swear.

damn it I don't swear!

Well....I hope we can talk Swedish in this one cuz I mean, if I make just one thread for swedish dudes, would there be a problem? It's not like we're talking cyber!

Det är inga fåglar på altanen idag. Bläh...

Well, one thing you learn throughout life is that it is not you who makes rules, it is you who has to follow them. So if the rule here is that you can't use other-than-english languages, then we're stuck with it. Regardless of whether the rule is stupid or not.

I can't write in Dutch either.

Hmm... Can't we make an annoncement-thread where we can sing and ... at least type songs in our own languages? Or maybe not... It's not a crime to write short notes to eachother in our own language, but to write a lot of stuff a lot of times can probably be annoying. Anyway...

There used to be a thread called "Three norwegians" where we norwegians talked, but we still kept it in english.
Why do you swedes always have to be so special?
As it seems all of you write perfect english, and none of the other swedes seems to have the urge to write swedish, what's the problem?

We should have one thread for each language! That would be great. For u people who asked about how my party went...hmmm....I was expecting 14 to come but they brought their friends. Soon there was 20+, (I didn't have time to count them, they moved to quickly.) It started raining and a few dummies ran out to roll on my lawn. One guy took an umberella and held it up as far as he could, trying to get hit by lightning. Well....later....my friend Sam took her boyfriend and decided to make out in my basement all alone, and my sister walked in on them. Now she thinks we all had sex in the basement and that's not cool.

I guess the party was fun, a little off track, but it was cool.
For anyone who didn't get an invitation here, it must have gotten lost in the mail

(I have an urge to write Swedish cuz all I write in America is freakin English and I want some diversity in my low life)

Cursed Blood

The rain was smothering over the window, covering its’ solid glass with a wet blanket. A storm was near, as you could tell because the clouds gathered, thick and green, moving fast over the plains of Barweet, in the town of Countrylane in West Virginia. A tornado had been sighted and families were huddled together listening for the warnings of the siren, everyone but May. May, girl around 18, let her long blonde hair slide down her shoulders as she walked through the empty house, her foot steps soft. She stops to watch the trees blow in the strong northern winds. She then rippled her fingers over the icy window, longing for the sun to shine once again. For the last two weeks, rain and snow had been on and off but no sun would come to warm the earth with its’ fulfilling smile. May sits down on an old rocking chair by the window and rubs her arms for warmth. The thin satin nightgown didn’t help from the cold house. All alone, she waited for her mother Jean to come home. The house where they lived, big and empty, was now echoing with ever breath she took. May opened the window, only to feel the rain splatter across her smooth face, soaking her nightgown. She smiles, enjoying the rain and the smell of fertile grass. A car pulled up in the drive way and she could tell it was her Mom’s old Jeep. Closing the window quickly, fearing getting yelled at, she ran towards her room. It was late, close to 1:00, so she slipped under her covers and flicked the light switch right when her Mom opened the front door.
“I’m home!” She cried as she slapped down her keys onto the kitchen counter.
Jean comes running into her room and turns on the light. May pretends to wake up, and rubs her eyes.
“Why did you wake me up for?” May whined and stretched her long arms.
“You weren’t sleeping,” Jean said as she peered around in her room, “Your drapes aren’t down.”
May looked out the giant window only to see the black horizon staring back. It was a rule to close her drapes when going to bed. Whoops, she thought and looked down at the floor. Jean came and sat down on the side of her bed.
“Oh honey, you need sleep for that trip to Italy,” Jean said and sighed. Everything is silent as May thinks of something to say. The only thing that comes out is the pouring rain outside.
“You’re wet,” Jean said and felt May’s wavy blonde hair, “You’ve been outside.”
“No,” May mumbled, “I just opened my window, that’s all.”
Jean sighed and hugged her. “I’m going to miss you so much while you’re gone. I’m just so scared something is going to happen to you.”
May pulled away from her mothers’ arms. “I’ll be gone for a week,” she said irritably, “I’ll survive.”
Jean felt hurt and got up to leave, but stopped at the door. “I’ve put a little present in your luggage, but don’t open it until you’re on the plane. I won’t see you before you leave tomorrow.”
May looks up at her mother, wondering why her mother is starting to quiver. Her forehead was soaked in sweat, but she just came up and gave her a light kiss on the cheek.
“Be careful,” she whispered and left the room, closing the door behind her.
May wanted to get up, afraid of what was going on in her Mother’s head, but she was angry with her for her constant superstitions about spirits, ghastly creatures, and vampires. About a half year ago, her husband and May’s father had disappeared out of their house while they had been in New York. They only found his clothes, drenched in warm blood which also covered the bed, the floor, and making a path to an open window where it trailed off. FBI said that he had been murdered. Jean said that he had an affair with a vampire but in his sleep, he had been bitten, and sliced. May wouldn’t believe it. A vampire, she thought. You can’t expect an 18year old girl to believe in those stupid superstitions! After the mysterious death, or as Jean said, a conversion to the immortal, May wasn’t allowed to go outside at night. It was hard for her mother to be home because keeping a house and a car required a night shift. May felt great when night crept in, so wonderful, so mysterious, as the suns’ smiles fades into the moons’ agony.
May turned off the light, listening to the rain. She shut her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
Meanwhile, her mother Jean went into the room where her husband had been converted. It hadn’t been touched since his death. The bed was still bloody hell, and window was still open. She had ordered the police to leave it this way and it had been kept fresh. She slowly tip-toed to the window, clutching a cross in her hand, so hard, her knuckles grew white. Suddenly, she shot her arm out the window and cried as tears trickled down her face.
“May all you vampires burn in God forsaken hell!”
A bat screeches in the distant black sky. Jean throws her cross after it and she heard it fly through the trees and land on the solid ground. She fell to her knees, sputtering prayers and coughing up blood. A large black bat landed on her window sill. It watched her quietly and hissed as Jean looked up. She clenched a tiny cross hanging from her neck.
“Flee, servant of Satan,” Jean snapped at it and quickly wiped the blood which had trickled down her chin all the way to her throat. “You’ve done enough here.”
The bat hissed with laughter. “We vampires feed too,” it said and showed its’ long gleaming fangs.
The vampire watched her gleefully and licked its’ lips when it saw the blood around her throat. It began to crave the blood as the smell tickled its’ nose. It started to lure closer.
“Leave my family alone,” Jean said between her teeth.
The vampire hissed at the sight of the tiny golden cross. Jean held it into its’ face and it shrieked with terror. It twisted and turned flapping its’ big black wings in agony.
“Damn you!” It shrieked. “You are not rid of me. You cannot hide from us. We see you, we hear you, we know you.”
The bat hops off the window sill and flies before Jean can say anything in return. She’s crying as the rain continues to cover her in a wet blanket. She pounded her fists against the wet floor.
“God please!” She screamed out into the rain. May woke up form her sleep and got to her feet. Her mother’s tormenting screams filled the big empty house. May ran to the kitchen, looking for anything that she could protect herself with. A long gleaming knife laid in the cupboard, and she grabbed it hastily as she plunged after the screams. She swung open the door in which room she hadn’t been in since the death of her father. Looking around, she was all the blood, she saw all the tear. Running to her mother, she was careful not to touch the dry blood spots, splattered over the floor.
“It came back!” Jean sputtered as she continued to cough more blood on the floor, “She didn’t get enough! She didn’t get enough!”
May fell to her knees and patted her mother’s back. It wasn’t the first time she had coughed up blood. It was a disease she had been cursed with.
“Mom!” May yelled, “Mom! Snap out of it! You’re going to be okay! Take deep breaths! Breathe with me!”
Jean stopped coughing and steadied herself onto the bed, trying to stand. May watched her and soon helped her up on her weak legs. May walked to close the window, but her mother stopped her.
“Do not close the window,” she sputtered, “It was opened for a reason, and it will stay opened.” Jean faced her with weary eyes, blood still trickling down her mouth. Her pale cheeks and forehead looked horrifying, almost as if looking at a painting. “Please don’t leave, May, for your own safety, stay here.”
May doesn’t want to listen. All this vampire snow was going to her head. “No Mom, I’m going. There are no vampires that will get me or you. It was only a normal bat. Now lay down before you cough more blood.”
“Listen to me!” Jean cried, “You may not believe me because the doctors don’t, the police don’t, your grandparents don’. But you are my daughter, my lovely beautiful daughter May. Sweet like the sun and mysterious like an elven queen. Don’t go, don’t go. Stay here. You’ll be safe with me. Stay here……stay here…..stay….”
Jean falls over, for she was overworked, overtired, too frightened to speak. She had seen them, she had heard them, she knew them. They were coming back, and the only thing on her mind was saving her daughter from the fate which she knew was coming. For the curse was in her blood.
