Making Shadow of Death work on WinXP
HELL0! I know this is supposed to be a WoG discussion but I'm in kind of a hurry. You probably can guess my question: can Shadow of Death work on XP.I heard you have to modify some parameters or something...Does anyone know the answer ?

You have to hack into the microsoft.com servers with a screwdriver and download the apropriate patch with a pair of pliers.

Sure it works on XP. Nothing special needed.
The latest patch (3.2) would be a good thing to have, if u want to play online with other guys..

Mitzah, I've never heard about changing something in XP in order to play SoD. Lots of my friends who have XP have never reported any problems with XP. What is more, I've heard that SoD sometimes doesn't work. I think it depends on many things... some programs won't work on Windows after changing one single file. That's a lottery.

yeah, sod does not work on XP when it's *cough* pirated *cough*.
And not only then, there are friends of mine who experienced the full game problem. It's simple, really, just set the program compatibility to windows 98.
