Harry Potter III
Hmm ... i've just seen Harry Potter III ... it was pretty nice (+) but they changed Dumbledore , the castle (Hogwarts) ... those were on my list with some big minuses(-) ... but it was nice to see Harry getting mad and destroying "everything" in his path ...
and your opinion is ?

ig fan and i must say the movie was a....
BIG DISAPOINTMENT
They left out so much. Movie was way to short snow if you want a good movie these days you need to make it like the titanic a really sucky movie but long ass.
the harry potter movie should have been at least that long

I think they shouldn't have changed the director of the film... he messed things up IMO.

I think the change or director was cool but the new Dumbledore should've at least tried to be more like the old one was and not a totally diff character. That ruinied it for me

I find it difficult to understand why they changed so many things that were in the book:
1) harry was unhappy to ride a hippogryph
2) herm hit Malfoy a lot earlier (cool punch tho - must have hurt)
3) harry had to get firebolt half a year earlier
4) the boggart - there were no silly music
5) about the wormtail - Harry should not have fouind any trace of him, only at the end of the book
6) only one arrival at hogsmeade - boo
and some others...
overall: film wasn't so bad, but I thought it is gonna be better. I think they wanted to release this as soon as they can, because they wanted to focus on the goblet.

Well Regnus_Khan ... they can't make a movie exactly like in the book , anyway ... i'm curious how HP 4 will be because the book is very very long with many many scenes ...

I know. I think the movie was too fast paced. Like you said, they had to leave out a bunch of scenes. Pretty frustrating, they could have tried to make it an epic movie but instead they settled for croud-pleaser.

No, I don't think EVERYTHING should be taken from the book... but at least, let it be in the same order as the book: hippogryph -> bad flight; firebolt -> christmas; etc.

What pissed me off is they didn't tell non-readers the origin of the Marauder's Map and whom made it first. You know, Harry's father and his friends.

The Harry Potter and Prisoner Of Azkaban Movie was quite good.
I like Buckbeak the Hippogriff, he looked fierce but cute. The only disappointments were the new Dumbledore (he never acted quite like the late Richard Harris) and the movie length (it was a little short). But otherwise it was pretty good.

I hope they dont screw the 4th book its second only to the 5th it would be a shame if the took to much out or change to much can any one say ass is numb for this one?
