Converting A Picture To A Map

I hear it's possible to convert a picture to a ruff heroes map without doing it by hand? Is this true? If so could someone explain how?

Seek for H4util. Download for example [URL="http://dynamic3.gamespy.com/~homm/index.php?page=homm4/h4files.shtml"]here [/URL]. It is not very easy to use, especially if you are not at home wiht DOS command promt, but it does the job.
