New Artifacts(+ pics!)
hi2all,
i would like you to help me. i need ideas for these 10 artifacts:
the preferable positions are: the broach is for neck, the horn is misc artifact and the quilter armor is for shoulders. these are preferable positions though you can decide to put the ring as shield for example. i need really serious ideas, not like the gayness skill or tree hugging
you can use this thread for your own pictures/ideas but please comment on mine.

hmm, perhaps you need some help. here are some ideas:
1. helm -- possible name "Helm of the Dread Lord". looks like taken from a dread knight so i would make it give +5att,+5def,+1speed to all dreadknights on your side if you have any and -5att,-5def,-1speed if the enemy has them. also in any case it gives -2 morale to the enemy troops who believe the dread lord is coming for a masacre( which is exactly what he intended to do  )
2. shield -- possible name "Shield of retribution". all your units get one additional retaliation and can retaliate against creatures who normally can't be retaliated against like naga queens(but not hydras since they have multiple attack)
3. ring2 -- possible name "Archmage's ring of mastery". it has three stones on it but we may think they are four  . it gives your hero the 4 spell skills(earth,air,water, fire) at advanced level if the hero doesn't have them or at expert otherwise. if the hero has all of them at expert gives sorcery, intelligence and maybe resistance at unknown(for now) level.
4. boots -- possible name "Boots of the traveler". gives hero no movement penalty on all terrains and makes his creatures native to all terrains(will have +1 speed in all battles)
see? it's not that hard to make a new artifact. waiting for your comments and ideas

How about the Azurewrath: protects you army from cold and +4 to all skills...I could post a pic too...

isn't this the sword of the archangel Tyrael(is it spelled correctly?) the idea is good but against which spells exactly will it protect you?

ah thats always the way to win: quit.

but no, dont give up just yet. youve barely tried. try some artifacts from MM8 (which were my fave part of the game) and add some appropriate properties!

Longseeker bow
Bonus Ranged attacks for all your creatures (or bonus ballistas or something)
droggs helm
bonus defence against magic
Staff of the Swamps
Bonus earth magic skill
etc. try this out 
advice: try to keep away from charms and rings. too generic, and its easy to put enchantments on them. too easy, almost cheap.

good idea and it will be good addition to something already existing but i don't have a picture of a bow. fpr now my aim is to make only the artifacts on top which are already in the game(*cough*hint*cough*)

The Ghost's Sword
makes all your units deal double damage to living creatures.

first of all the ghost sword. it should look really ethereal. it will need a holy sword too. then some bows(at least one composite and one longbow) and some staves which are not present in h3 at all

Ste i got an ideea for a new artifact but i can't help you with the image ... It should be called Totem of Sanctuary... It could be a misc artifact and it would protect all your creatures from negative spells.
