tranadon and quezacotalis - flyers
bronto/diplodocus streach out tails long and fast like arrow (unlimited shots)
smart velociraptor - throws eggs
also, lots of them are so fast, they dont need to shoot, they are already at the opponents throats.

Spinosaurus as upgrade for Tyranosaurus Rex? Not a chance.
Spinosaurus:
Tyranosaurus Rex:
I would replace Spinosaurus with Allosaurus, although I'm not sure which would be the upgraded version.
I don't really like the idea of the Loch Ness Monster in a town like that either.
EDIT: Another thing I think is worth mentioning, is that AFAIK Styrakosauri were a tad smaller than Triceratopses.

I am also surprised that in such a thread, the famous Stegosaurus was left unmentioned.
(and I am still confused as to how those beasts managed to procreate)

Actually, the Archdevil wasn't really smaller. It just had straighter horns.

okay, you are right. but i was going more for the fact that styracasaurus has more horns
also, instead of the plesiosaur/lochness combo, howabout thos fish with the hard heads, and they upgrade to plesiosaur.

Make them upgrade to mozasaurus or what was their name.
Besides, the styrakosaurus's horns weren't used for fighting - they were just for show.
I'll look up something more apropriate to go with triceratops tonight or this weekend.

It used to be my hobby when I was attending that place you go to before school, whatever it's called. I used to know quite a lot on the subject, and some bits I still remember

nice idea
I like dinos
shouldnt it be called pteranodon? (the flying guy)
Hmm and I dont think that a T-Rex should be upgraded - more like being an uprgrade itself.
And yes, styracosaurus is smaller than triceratops. I think I would replace plesiosaurus/loch Ness wit Stegosaurus.
reg
Daddy
PS. mine would look like this:
The planteaters all have high def, the meateaters have high att
1)
Styracosaurus -> Triceratops (as exception this one has add high att cuz of horns^^)
spec: charge
2)
Lambeosaurus -> Parasaurolophus (ranged, throws with rocks)
spec: loud voice (can call warnig-shouts to boost def of all dino-troops on battlefield)
3)
Pteranodon -> Quetzalcoatlus (flyers, attack with beak)
spec: flying, cannot be attacked by groung units (allways in air)
4)
Brontosaurus -> Brachiosaurus (attack with tail/feet)
spec: stunn, earthquake(stomp to shake walls), thick fat(increases def, decreases cold-dmg)
5)
Deinonychus -> Veloceraptor (attack with sharp claws)
spec: bleed (letting victims bleed, thus losing helth every turn (can be cured)), eat victim (gaining a few (not like vamps) health back from killing)
6)
Stegosaurus -> Kentrosaurus (<- this one has thorns instead of the things, stego has)
spec: thick fat, earthcquake
7)
Allosaurus -> T-Rex
spec: bleed, eat victim
