h4 - hero script
hello.
you can in the mapeditor click on any army and put some script, you can even click on the hero inside the army window and write any events just for him.
now my question.
I want to do a global event that will affect any heroes in play.
the event is time based so it will be trigged for every hero in play X times, once or repetely.
the script checks the heroes skills/artifacts and grant them additional bonuses like power ups/creatures/resoureces and more.
i have no problem doing the script inside a specific hero but i don't know how to do it global.
any suggestions?

Apply it to all the heroes
EG: hero does this
other hero does it at the same time
yes, this will take a while, but if you use the copy paste thing it will be faster. I think. i dont have ERM. Good luck!

I'm not sure exactly what you want to do, but if you want all placed heroes to get certain bonuses when certain criteria are met you can do it as follows:
Place a neutral (no alignment) hero icon on the map. Add your script to it. Now, drag it back into your hero palette (this will remove it from the map). Now you can add as many instances of that non-alignment hero to your map as you want (and after you place it on the map you can select a class, a sex, and even a portrait). Of course, this will limit your script only to starting heroes. I can't think of a way to make a global event that would effect heroes hired from an Inn during gameplay (other than using a placed event or a town event).
