When we all burn out and fade away..

It had came to mind, that after months on these forums that all of this will one day not exist. Everything that we have said on these forums shall be but 'Shadows and dust' (Gladiator quote). It is sad to know that this is going to happen, i mean the threads that you would eventually find in these forums are unbelieveable. From proper Heroes talk to mere chitchat, but has it all been for nothing. Now i am not saying that armageddon is around the corner but this site shall become non-existent one day. Then what? will someone take over the site, will it be churned up by the media machine. Or like the heroes themselves shall it overcome its unclear and destined future....are we the ones who are to decide?

I'm sure that as long as people keep coming, this place will stay. And I will keep coming

So basically what I'm trying to say is, this and many other forums will probably live as long as humanity does, so when it's gone there'll be nobody left to care about it being gone. So how is that a thing to be worried about?

Even if HC were to go down permanently, people would still contact one another from here.  I know I was in touch with several members when HC went down a while ago.  How long ago was that?

It really doesnt matter if its gone one day, when all activity stops.
What will matter then will be the experience we all had when we were part of HC and the influence it had on us alltogether.

Doubt this forum will be drifting to the hall of many tombs. Many of the older members still hang around.

HC will be due for a resurgence when Heroes 5 comes out I think. You'll see some members that haven't been around in a while to discuss strategy etc.

And not you worry. I'll still be around.

I know that one day HC will die, it is inevitable.  What is important is what I learned during my experience here at HC, and the memories and relationships gained.  It's amazing how simple text can affect someone.

Thanks for your replies so far guys, i was just interested in finding out what people would say about the topic of heroes dying out. It seems to have recieved a good response.

Heroes will die only when players stop playing, and that is not for a while!!
