Hehehe...
My goal was to show "jebus" the real difference between online playing and playing against comp. And with my small skills, the easiest and most impressive way is to face him with castle, jebus, 130%. And itīs one of the shortest way, coz i hadnīt that much time. Playing on "Extreme" would have been fun as well, but would have lasted much longer.
But playing on 200% would have been no fun for him i think....and neither for me.
And i know pretty sure u would smash me in a 1on1 game. Your online experience is much better than mine...iīm playing for 7 months now....you for years?...
I guess you didn't take into account the "fear"!!!
Playing online was I was feeling pretty confident.... Strong hero not affraid of anything....
Online however I've turned into a paranoid war victim with shell shock craddled in a corner shacking violently from cold sweats!!!! (where's the online counceling??? Where's the "How to cope after getting your *** kicked by a vet who was trying to teach you something!!!" LOL
I think 200% would've at least have delayed the pain!!!
(spent 4 hours preparing for my death)
uh.... on a different note, any noobs want to play???
I need to regain some confidence.... LOL

Cleaned from SPAM, bashing and offtopic discussions.
Last 2 pages have been untouched, coz (off-topic-) disussions were at least in a bit friendlier way.
Keep it going (on topic..)

I also think tactics are used by people with might heroes and armies.Just a case of mine,I remember fighting rampart hero with archers and dendroids and I moved my behemoths and thunderbirds forward.9 ancient behemoths, with bloodlust killed 17 dendroids with very high defense, and my hero didn't have increased attack!Thunderbirds moved on his archers and wipped them out.rest were dwarfes..

Its a normal tactic to place a single unit within reach of a neutral creature to get it forward without waiting first but sometimes the ai decides to either wait or not even hit the single fodderunit.
Does anyone know what makes the ai do this? It can be deadly when the ai actually plays intelligently.

A clever way to get creatures that outspeed you forward without waiting is to block your powerstack by single slow fodderunits. The ai thinks you cant hit it, since your powerstack is blocked and your fodder cant reach, and moves forward. Then you can move the fodder and smack it with your powerstack. The ai dosent seem to worry about whether its hit by a full shot or a half shot so your archers can benefit from this too.

Hi Maretti this is a very good advice for many players. Even many so called experts dont know that. Of course very good advices like this stay UNNOTED here in the library. Peeps are more interested in "What is the best town" and "Titans rule" thread.

Thanks Xarfax. I forgot to mention that this tactic also has the advantage that if the ai-unit should get moral it dosent matter much since your powerstack is blocked and it will only kill a single fodderunit.

Hmmmm?
Let me describe a battle scenario involving the use of tactics, there are a few possible variations on how the AI will react and i wondered if anyone can explain to me,how i can predict the way the AI wil react BEFORE i enter battle.
Lets say i enter a battle on non-native ground with a early week 1 rampart army and expert tactics and am attacking lots of elves.Typically, what i would do is place my Grand elves at the top followed by half my centaurs ,half my centaurs again in the 3rd slot and then 4 single centaurs single centaurs.Using tactics i would move my 4 single centaurs as far towards the enemy as my tactics allows spreading them evenly from top to bottom. My 2 "big stacks" of centaurs i would move to a poasition where they can wait and then attack the elves in round 2.
My question is this:Sometimes when i use this formation the enemy elves shoot my single centaurs round 1,sometimes they shoot my elves, how can i KNOW what will happen BEFORE i enter battle or at least during the tactics phase of the battle?

I am not sure, but i thing that it depends on how much damage they can do. 1 centaur is 8 hp. And if the enemy elfs can do more damage to your elfs (even on broken arrow) they will shoot them. Try puting 2 or 3 centaurs and see what happens.
