The Faces Behind the Characters
Since RSF is trying so diligently to better develop and round our characters out of thread now as well as in, I thought I'd help out by allowing everyone the chance to come here and post pictures of your characters according to what you think they would look like were they real people. That way, everyone can see how you view your character and have a better visual frame of the story in their minds.
Now, we could all draw these pictures manually, but some (like myself) are artistically challenged and would not be able to portray their characters how they want, so instead we will use the Hero Machine to "dress up" our characters how we want. There is a very high level of customization, and I personally find creating heroes with this program very entertaining. The hero machine can be found here.
I'll start us off by drawing my rendition of Shadowcaster. I first drew him alone, with the version linked to above. This is what came out:
Then I drew a picture of the shadow mage with his mother, this time with the complete version (note: This version can only be purchased, but it has quite a bit more features.) This was the result:
I can't wait to see what turns out in this thread.
(If you need a place to upload your photos, imageshack.us lets you upload any pic less than 1024 KBs. Just save a screenshot to your comp and then upload it.)
Enjoy!

Can't do Woockardo...?
Sure you can, you just have to imagine him taller once he's made. Here's what I came up with when I tried to draw him:
EDIT: Image removed.
...Perhaps you'd prefer something more like Commando Woock, then?

Here's Dean from LHW. He doesn't look like your usual wizard type, he's more from Mighty Mages school of thought, that mages don't have to be weak.
They didn't have a mace in the weapons section so he had the Icy Morningstar in his hand
More of my characters to come

Your host site is down, Ghasketh.
Any chance you could host it elsewhere? There is a link to an upload site in my first post that you should be able to use.
And great pics, everyone else! I'll try and do another of my characters later on today, so keep an eye out for Lokali.

After seeing Commando Woock...
LOL!
Is it possible to change the skin color, add a bit of flesh on the face and change the outfit?

The outfit can always be changed...
but the face is a no can do. Sorry.
Anyway, I've been playing a bit and I attempted a Kt'Kr from the Axis. Let's hope I'm somewhat on the ball:
And as promised, here is Lokali. You have to use your imagination, as this was a bit harder to replicate. Just imagine him thinner and with a lich face from H3. Here he is:

Here's how I see Moridith Blackfist, the new leader of the Order of the Sacred Sword.
He looks mean beacuse he is mean. The Order's been slacking off for too long under the command of buffoons. Now a REAL man needs to take charge!
Edit: I really like the look of Ghasketh!! The double whips are a nice touch.

What are the "other features" on the full version? The tool looks really neat, but the website does not provide impressive information on the full vs. free versions. Right now, I am particularly interested in varying poses...not all my characters are slim-but-busty women, muscular men, or squat dwarves.
And to justify a post, here is eye-candy made with the free tool. Karida is a character without a world. I use her mostly for historical horror scenarios (she's a ghoul).

@Ghasketh: Cool pic. I would have given him more flesh, but the skins only come in with or without said flesh. If anyone could figure out a creative way to do that, I'll certainly try it out, but, as I see it, it is impossible, for now.
@Asmodean: Wow, strangely enough, I imagined him about the same. >_>
@Khaelo: Cool, an elf with a leafy aura.
Sadly, there are no new poses in the complete version, but there is much more you can do with the limited number of poses. Take for example my bug character up there, I was able to change his lower body into that of a bug, an option available only in the complete version. You can also select from pre-made faces, switch the heads of your character into other heads (alien, animal, etc.), and there are also several weapons in the final version not included in the free one (a mace, for example). Different companions and backgrounds are also included.
But it is 20 dollars.

Mordith, with the pale skin and the blank gaze. The outfit was different, but that's almost to be expected. Great pic, though.
