Halo 2
Halo 2 is the sequel to the current best seller Halo, which has been at the top of XBOX sales ever since it came out.
I have to tell you, this game is godly. In Halo 2, the saga continues as Master Chief—a genetically enhanced super-soldier—being the only thing standing between the relentless Covenant and the destruction of all humankind.
Dual weilding both covenant and human guns, all new weapons and enemies, the possibility of being the covenant in single and multiplayer, the new vehicles and maps, XBOX Live... its all good. The new single player experience is awesome.
The Master Chief escaped from the ring world Halo in the first game, destroying it as a vicious covenant weapon.
This time the threat is more serious; the stakes much more high; the Covenant, a merciless and powerful alliance of bloodthirsty alien races, have come to Earth. Only the Master Chief can defend our planet, and find out why they came.
Has anyone else got this game, or buying it? I strongly suggest it.

Halo 2...
Well, I had started a thread on Monday evening about Halo 2 and it pretty much got ignored! So, either people were all sitting in line to buy the game or no one cares/plays Halo as much as you and I.
I have been picking up extra shifts at work just so that I will have enough spare money to buy the game. Almost there, just a few more extra shifts!!!

As Inspector Gadget would say...
Wowzers! Those sales figures are incredible!!! I think those are bigger results for a "1 day total" than any movie ever released! These sort of numbers are sure to get movie-makers attention...
We could be seeing movies of those 2 games in the near future, if I guess correctly. Any ideas on that?

I think that there will be a Halo movie, there is already numerous books (which are pretty good I've only read a bit of the first one).
Don't forget to listen to the soundtrack I put in on the first post!

I need my fix!
I do not own Halo 2 or even an Xbox, for that matter, but I have managed to play with a buddy of mine (WildWorks) 3 times so far. And so now, I will openly admit that I am addicted to playing on Xbox Live against other people. The 1st time I played was only for 1.5 hours against the computetr in a few missions. The 2nd time I played was on-line against my buddy's friends in Arizona, who had been living & breathing the game since it's release. I was starting to get the hang of it, but these 2 guys knew where every weapon was on every map and so, WildWorks & I were getting constantly creamed...boring. We eventaully gave up playing those guys and played some more missions.
Well, the 3rd time we played (this Tuesday), I had a blast!!! We played on-line in the "Random Team Matches" Lobby and I couldn't get enough. My buddy and I were usually on the same team and were eventually joined by his buds in Arizona. So, we had some crazy matches of CTF, Assault, Bomb-Drop, and Slayer...all team!
This time, I had slightly adjusted my controls and was more used to the game, so I was kickin' some serious butt! In Coagulation, I got 17 kills in 3 minutes riding on my favorite vehicle, the Ghost!!! I'll admit, there were some matches that ended in stalemates (often on Zanzibar) and there were times that we got served! (Foundary), but all in all I would have to rate myself above average.
I can't wait to get my own Xbox and copy of Halo 2, so that I can go on Xbox Live and improve even more. I have a few beefs about the game, but my main one about Xbox Live is that there was a lobby for Free-for-All Slayer (my favorite), but guests were not allowed in with the Host...bummer!
If ever you are on Xbox Live, keep an eye out for WildWorks & Guest or eventually, Leo Lion, as I will run you over with my Ghost!

Sounds like great fun!
Unfortunately, my XBOX Live isn't enabled currently (I used to play Midtown Madness and Crimson Skies with it) so I haven't been able to play Halo 2 on Live, only split screen with my friends.
But I should be getting it soon (hopefully!)

I just listened to the Halo Theme song...
My buddy, who gave me his Xbox for a week, had also sent me the link to this tune a few months ago. I loved it then and I still love it now! 
I just can't wait to hook up my "Cambridge Desktop Theatre System" to my computer and listen to it in 5.1 Stereo Surround! Rock on!!!

I know, the tune is awesome. I posted a link above, I dunno if you saw it.
But, you HAVE to check out this movie of this guy playing Halo2. It's crazy. At first it seems like a fluke, but then he does it tons of times. And it's the same guy, as his name pops up often, as do his mates' names. And it's put together well. Check this out:

haha that homer thing is pretty funny, the guys not that good though. pretty good, but nothing special.
