All of those are important, but what I'd really like to see is...
SDK
I mean, the only way HoMM players were allowed to "build on top of the game" was mapmaking. Sure, many strategy games don't even have that. But look around at the other genres. Look at Half-Life. Look at Morrowind. Half-Life is possibly one of the games most heavily modified by fans. Morrowind came with awesome modding tools. What I'd like to see in HoMM5 is more room for customization. Let the players make new creatures, new towns, new hero types! You may think this would take away any chances for good multiplayer, but that doesn't have to be the case.

Yea, you broke up the poll too much. There are multiple responses I want to vote on. The Celestial Heavens poll was just MP v SP so if you want to compare the preference from Celestial Heavens and here you should have the same poll, not one with a bunch of extra options on it that are influential to both MP and SP.

I think Lord Woock's idea is really good. That's something I've been thinking for a while and that would be cool to be able to put your own ideas in the game. Of course, there would be limits to how good you can make a team and whatnot.

This poll ain't useful at all... there are way better threads/polls/quizes about Homm5...
anyway, all of these "points" you mentioned are convenient, since different people want different things, while the company wants to earn more money 
personally, I'd go for the towns and creatures since they are the thing I am playing for mostly

I think the game deffinately needs some good single player, (good a.i.) a story is nice but it will end at one point or another then there is no reason to play anymore except to beat your score.
multiplay (at least in my case)also relies on strong AI which doesnt usualy happen.
modding the game is nice and all, but unless there is a HUGE fanbase man made mods wont take off and it will just dilute the h5 base players.

1,2,3,4...But multiplayer is most important for me because i like play with friends. =)
