About the new feature "blessings and curses":
https://h3maparchives.celestialheavens.com/wog/picsall/sphinx2.jpg
1. To disable it, I only need to uncheck the Sphinx option, right?
2. If it still working without Sphinx (like random curses or so), is there a way to disable at all?
(The perfect scenario would be to complete remove those 2 icons from the Hero panel).

"Well sure, but I don't see why someone would remove town portal unless he is some sort of masochist or he is unemployed. Dim door is not necessary to win a large map but town portal will save time. "
Okay but what is the best strategy on large maps without it?Track down the main enemy hero or go after castles first? The problem is after u go out and attack a castle the opponent will attack a castle you own where you are not near.

I usuarlly ban fly, water walk, town portal, etc, I love to play more might than magic, but in those maps I guarantee that armies won't clash until the end game (by quest garrisons, many level 7 or 8 creatures guarding passages, etc).
In a normal map there are many things you can do: Always stay more near your towns than the enemy. Send scouts to discover the map to be warned if the enemy get close. Your main heroes should have loghistics, pathfinding (or navigation if the map has lot of water). You can choose a heroe with Logistics speciality, as Kyrre in rampant, you will cross the map in a blink).
So, keeping near your castle, the enemy will always come from long distance, having less troops than you. Go for their towns only after his attempts to invade your territory. If you are playing with some WoG options, you don't need to keep your enemie's castles, just destroy their city hall, fort, level 7 dwellings, etc (start with the expensive ones), and return to your towns fast, with your logistics skill. Repeat that and you will be stronger than your enemy week by week. It is a long therm strategy if you don't like shortcuts.

Right. Sometimes you'll get the blesses/courses via custom scripts in particular map. But like any other wog custom maps with scripts - map author is a god ;]

Thanks, now I've noticed that at the end of turn, if a hero has remaining points, it doesn't warns you that you can still moving, like in vanilla. Is there a way to enable that function again?
***
Another question: I'm playing with "Enhanced War Machines I" (only this, not II, III or Warfare), and in town I have the option to upgrade each war machine, but I've upgraded the tent to level 2, then, in the same day, after a reload, in the same town (without doing nothing more than reload), my tent was in level 2 and can upgrade to 3... also, after many reloads, my tent was in level 8 (maximum of the hero with 8 too... all in the same day with only reload a save game to win a hard combat. Is that a known bug?
***
And another: I'm carrying castle units with Sharpshooters, Enchanters and Firebirds, all of them are neutral, so it is ok wit morale, but, it says -1 moreale due 3 alignment troops? Is there a way to make Enchanters and Sharpshooters from Castle, Rampart or Tower? or, to return to the old neutral system like the option "Enhanced Monsters"? (I don't like Enhanced Monsters because it make a lot more unwanted changes in many types of creatures. I prefer another method)
***
And, is it possible to change native terrains? (I want to change sand to Necropolis and Dirt for Ramparts)
***
Sorry for such basic questions but the search of this site simply don't work, only search in titles leaving no results at all in most cases.

Well i am referring mainly playing against ai on impossible difficulty
in the campaigns.Like maps where there are lots of castles.Well basicly then it can be done just make sure to have logistics? In most campaigns you cannot stay near your city as you have to rush out.

heroes3wog, that is what "Impossible difficulty" means... you can beat the AI with many strategies, I usually ban those spells and what I usually do against AI is what I've described. To make sure to have my desired skills, I edit the map with some scholars to be sure I will not ruin my hero with Mysticism or so...

Now, I have a question about a glitch in many combat screens, in my laptop with Windows 7 I have no problems, but in my desktop with Windows 10 many screens are in black. By disabling the "new scenarios" it don't happens, but I like them, is there a way to run new scenarios with Windows 10?

Another question that is bothering my map making enjoyment... is there a way to return the original Sulfur Dunes sprites?

In the life of adventure campaign, is there any way to defeat the Green player? The mayors house?
Finished this map multiple times, but I never did that.
