A Sad Day In Gaming...
It is a sad day in gaming when one feels the need to cheat in a multiplayer game to win. Especially when their opponents were beating the snot out of them.
May I present, exhibit A:
Here we see a Scud Storm from Command & Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour, firing at my defenses as it's being built. Now, this leads to several questions, "How is this happening?", "How can I stop this?", or my personal favorite: "WTF!?!".
Following this is a series of taunts and attacks saying we broke the rules. Rules that were never made or agreed upon. "NO SW MEANS NO SW" if that was a rule made at the start, I would have been more than happy to follow it. However this is not the case, and it hurts to have the balance of power in the game shift so quickly out of your favor because of the "BS".
Things like this ruin the gaming experience for many people. People bragging and "talking smack" are annoying and bad enough. But the cheating is what really gets me. I would love to see the cheaters banned from multiplayer gaming by EA Games. But, alas, this is not to be.
So, the moral of the story: If you are hosting a game of C & C Generals and a guy named Invisible and Genghis come in, kick immediately. It's not worth your time and effort to play against these two. You will lose, even if everything is in your favor.
I may cry myself to sleep over this...nah.

There was a lot of dispicable stuff going on when I used to play Starcraft on Battle.net. Some of the people there were just plain intolerable. You couldn't count on a safe, secure game without taking the rascals out first. Especially during "allied" games. Sorry to hear.

Eeeehm this isnt the first day cheating was used in mpgame. Cheating has been around for aloooooooong time. Even the old Wolfenstein had cheating codes and such eventhough it didnt have mp.(correct me if im wrong)
And belive it or not some ppl still play D2 on battle.net
-including myself- where cheating is a HUGE problem. Not so much in the realms but more on the open battlenet. So many poor loosers that cant even complete the game in normal that have now started cheating. This includes two of my friends which i used to duel with on the realms. They now have all kinds of "cheater" stuff even though they dont clame its cheating if they get it from another cheater
What poor loooosers

I prefer to give myself the belief that as soon as one cheats you've basically won the game. If one must cheat to win they're simply saying that you are better and they have no chance in the darkest of hell's to win. I saw on the news one night that there are even cheaters at casino's. Even gamblers found a way to cheat the casino out of money that the casino claims to give to the lucky winners. It's all terribly amusing why people cheat. Oh well, life's not fair, neither are games of any sort. We're all winners in our own eyes.

If a man punches you in the stomach, is it ok to punch back? No, but you have to survive to, so go do it.
