Oh, the irony!
Just check this out:

It seems a young American who has been a protesting the new law making it illegal not to use seat belts in cars, have been killed in a car crash cos he didn't use his seat belt.
Poor guy....
EDIT: Oh, and the two other people in the car, the driver and the front seat passenger, both survived.
They used their seat belts...

Requiring the use of seat belts you mean.
I live right near where that happened. I don't understand what is so hard to wear a seat belt. It's not like the law is to hurt you. It's there to save your life, as he has found out.

One person I know in the states found it physically impossible to wear one when she was heavily pregnant and so just rode her luck and didn't. Other than that there's not many reasons not to.

One thing i dont understand:
Why do is it agaynst the law to choose not to protect your life with a seat belt ?
Could it be becose the car companies strongly suport it with the interest of lowering the deth statistics ? 
Conspiracy or pure fact ?

Well basically speaking she found it impossible to wear one, but also she believes strongly in the ideal of choice and responsibility. She is the one who must be allowed to choose as it affected her, and she would be responsible if that choice caused her death.
