New WoG Map: THUNK, released (finally)
Hi all -
First post here, actually. I think I'm on PR duty this time.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that at long last our H3:WoG map, THUNK, is finally done and available for download at Celestial Heavens (it's also at MapHaven but it's in the contest so it's an older version of the map). There was discussion here quite some time ago that it would be released in late 2003, but we got a little side tracked. But I think the end result was well worth it - aside from a few bugs that are still being worked on, it's a fun map (if I do say so myself! .
For those who don't know, this is actually a recreation of my H2 campaign, Last Hope. The first map (also Last Hope) was released some time ago (also at CH). This is the second map, so I suggest playing the first one first.
Currently we are at version 1.1. There are still a few little bugs that will be fixed in v1.2. Hopefully that one will be available within a week, but v1.1 is definitely playable.
Hope you all enjoy! (and the third map, Adjudication, is well on its way so hopefully there won't be a 2 year wait this time!)
Yours,
Corribus and Fnord
(Tim Duncan and Tim Pulver)

Havenīt yet finished it (just freed Corribus from that island), but have to say it looks very nice! Definitely good work!

Well we're still ironing out some bugs (including the fact that sometimes the red player still abandons for some reason - which can make the map technically make the map unwinnable in certain scenarios), but hopefully you won't come across any. If you do, please let us know so we can update the map!

Update: since Corribus posted this, he realized that this reported bug was in version 1.0 after all--so versions 1.1 and later should still be fine in this regard (and 1.2, available on Celestial Heavens, fixes all known bugs).
