Heroes 2 music?
I have Heroes 2 Gold, and, since I always preferred the
music of H2 to that of H3, I was trying to find out how
to translate it from H2 to H3 (renamed to appropriate
settings of course-Sorceress to Rampart for ex.). But
the H2 files are locked up in one big file, unlike H3
where they are all separate and hence easily accesible.
A search of this and several other forums revealed that:
TOH had some links from 2003 but they are now dead
A Google search initially provided some promising leads,
but they all came up empty
An attempt to record the sounds directly from the game
using Windows Sound Recorder didn't work-I heard the
music through my sound system but the Recorder only
recorded silence.
I DLed a program called Game Audio Player in the hopes
that it would help, but H2 isn't supported apparently...
Any help would be appreciated.
