Searching for Heroes II Music
Greetings!
I have spent much of my time recently searching for a place to download the music from Heroes II or a working tool to unlock it. I have found two tools to unpack the HEROES2.AGG file, but no working tool to convert the 82m files to wavs. Any help will be appreciated.

Guess you missed the other thread which I started (shrug)...
I have something called " dBpowerAMP Music Converter
Release 10" which <might> be able to convert the files
in question. May only work for just MP3s and WAVs tho...

What is there to miss? A Google search of this site returned nothing to help me.
The web site of the abovementioned tool said nothing about 82M's.

Just saying there's no reason to start a new thread when I
already had one visible on the first page. 
In any event since we want the same thing there's no reason
to quibble. I just threw out the name of a program which
<may> have helped (I'm not familiar with that file type
and assumed it was in the .mp3 family).
Anyone else have any ideas?

I know this might (if not defenetely) sound stupid but why dont you try to download them?I have the music in the warlock's town,the main theme of heroes 2 and the two soundtracks of HOMM 4 combat.It's rather impossible to find but you can at least try and maybe you ll get lucky enough

The pre-mentioned soundtracks were downloaded from Kazaa but recently I discovered a site in which people remix the soundtracks of games compatible for PC (I think).As I said I haven't checked that out and I dont know much about that site but if you want try. www.ocremix.org then click the option music and the remixes.If dont find what you seek try one of the links (I havent explorer this yet so I cant promise its a safe site so dont come after me if something come up).And of course you can go to www.downloads.com and search there or the official HOMM site if you havent done that already

Kazaa comes with spyware, so I won't even try. Thank you for the link, but the only HoMM2 remix it had was one I had already seen, which was too dissimilar to the original for my puposes. Thanks anyway!

I guess not everybody looked at the other thread, where I
explicitly delineated what I had tried to do to find them,
including a Google search.
Yes someone gave me a link but at that horrible DL speed
I'm not going to wait 90 minutes for one file. Using Kazaa
is something I will have to think very carefully about...

Thats what they want you to think!
As for the Heroes II music. if you have the disk try and put it in a regular CD-player and youll shall be delighted too see that this actually works perfect....
