Say something happens unexpected in your family. How do you respond? On Valentines day...of all days, my father had a heart attack. When informed...I didn't know what to say, think, do, etc. I just reacted, ran out of my work place after telling my boss "Something came up and I gotta go" Well, half the plant watched me run out the door, ppl from WI watched my sister and I speed to the hospital, and, thankfully, find out that he's alive yet.
But, how would you react? Same way? Differently? Has anyone had anything where all they could do is react? Like, saving the little old lady from nearly gettin hit by a passing vehicle that wasn't paying attention because they're too busy talking on a cell phone.
Heck, I was terrified for one in a few times probably in my life that the man I grew up knowing and loving would suddenly not be there. Scary thought....anyway, I hope to see some sort of long discussion about this.

Well, ussally when something life threating like that happens, 1st thing that happens is that time seems 2 slow while i hear/c it. then my blood freezes and i shiver. Then after what seems 4ever, i finnaly react. Like this 1 time my friend starting chocking, i dunno i just froze then instinct took over. I thanked god i just finished a CPR course 2 month earlier. But yea initally its panic, shock, cold blood, pause, then reaction. Thats they way its always been 4 me...

Why do people always start a sentence with :
Now don't freak out but...
and then they continue telling you something that totally freaks you out ( bad news )
Or why do people say stuff like: *name of person* broke his back falling off a bridge but he's ok
How can someone be ok after breaking their back???
Stupid..
I wonder how I'm going to react once labor starts..it's supposed to hurt a lot
Oh well, hope your dad is all better now Gorman

Good news? Who had good news? I sure didn't....but I do now. He is home so things are better for him anyway. Was a rather disgusting site to see his chest all scarred up though. Not exactly a very pleasing site to behold. Anyway, nobody's really answered my question on how they'd react! Thanks ppl lol
