I'm not like the rest of you geeks who enjoy spouting out inane japanese names. I'm not desperately looking for acknowledgement of how much of a freakin' know-it-all I am.
Please, give us a title and stfu. For example:
I like Dominion Tank Police and Ranma 1/2.
Amazing isn't it? I've spared everyone else the boring *** prattle that has filled the Tavern for oh...the last year or so.

Were you beaten as a (younger) child? If not.. What the **** is wrong with your behaviour?!

Hmm . . .
I enjoy watching the occasional anime but I wouldn't enjoy reading their comic books. Take DragonballZ for example. I have the most fun watching youngsters reaction to the fight scenes. Their demeanor changes and they try to emulate the fighting and the screaming. It's hilarious. One guy told me he was going to fight another kid at school but the kid just stood there screaming saying he was 'powering up'.
I much prefer the traditional comics popular characters from D.C., Marvel, and Image.

I like anything by Hayao Miyazaki, I especially like Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, and Princess Mononoke. Totoro may be chilidish, but it is still really sweet.

Inu-yasha is just a big hype. No offence intended. It is no wonder that series didn't get any awards. Here, for more interesting stuff, i'll share some links:

Saint Seiya.  Also known as Knights of the Zodiac in some countries. It's really old... made back in 1986 or something. I used to watch it when I like 6. I'm a big fan of Greek mythology, so naturally, I love it to death. ^_^
My favorite manga has to be Ranma 1/2. It's absolutely hilarious.
