Hey to all of you..I'm new guy from Croatia (Europe)....I think that good graphics is very important but the other stuff is alsoo important like that HOMM is a strategy nad not FPS, arcade or other.....For me HOMM 3 are legendary game and i played HOMM 1 (it was a long time ago) ,2 ,3 and not long time ago i founded WOG and i think that heroes should be like there in HOMM3 with added stuff from WOG...in graphics i'll just change the design of castels, structures, monsters and else......i think that gonig to far in arcade style graphics isn't good idea and it will ruin the game...HOMM 3 zauvjek (for ever)

Manga? I hate manga too. It has nothing to do with realistic graphics.
You are generalizing here; I had disliked it myself before I saw some great work by Japanese artists.
Fabrice said THIS in his interview to Russian Heroic Corner site:
Quote:
HC: And who are the painters of these sketches? Are they inspired somehow by Japanese anime?
FC: They are inspired by... the sources that I know, they do include, of course, Japanese anime, as Japanese comic books, but mostly, I think, also the games they played and all comic books. And if you compare European, American and Japanese comic books, you'll find that new Heroes style is much more in line with European than Japanese comic books.
Being a comic book fan myself, I am afraid he was talking about the American and European titles influenced by Japanese ones. Just like in the gaming industry, comic publishers think they will gain new readers by printing the hype stuff. Throughout the last decade, it was Manga. In addition, new artists are fond of and influenced by Japanese comics. I did enjoy those books, but not every story was meant to be told Manga style.
The question is whether old Heroes fans are able to accept a completely new approach. Personally, I agree Heroes are not Manga.

Oh sorry, I must have missed yeterday one of your posts when I was checking the list of the threads where you've posted.
Yeah, I think you have.... but that's OK, many stars don't make a general out of everybody...
As for other ideeas we agree and anyway the disaster of H5 has already struck us so the discussion might end as well here.
