Also codenamed as the Xenon, Xbox Next, or Xbox 360...this is where we can discuss the first next-generation console that will be unvieled to the world.
Here is a website with great information about the next Xbox version which Microsoft will likely release before Christmas 2005.

Hey Leo, have you seen the new XBOX 360? (wow, didn't see that name coming)
That's the real thing, released by Microsoft in Los Angeles recently, I prefered the black and green personally.
What do you think?
Apparently all the controllers are going to be wireless... snap, just as you got your new wireless one for Christmas, Leo!

Wireless controllers only?!  That's such a sweet idea that I don't even care that they aren't overhawling the controller's design.
Actually, in about 10 minutes, I am going to be watching the official Xbox 360 unveiling on MTV. So, I might be back with some juicy details before I go to bed...stay tuned!

Ok, so the show didn't exactly reveal any major new details, but the whole thing demonstrated that Microsoft is really committed to making this new system go huge on a global level. They are spending tons of money to promote this system, even months before it is going to go on sale around Christmas.
They also showed a glimpse of an upcoming game that will most likely be available at the system's launch, Perfect Dark: Zero.
It's basically a FPS, with beautiful graphics and also some Tribes-type jetpatcks.
Other than that, the full motion videos that I saw for Tiger Woods Golf '06, Madden NFL '06, and Need For Speed were remarkable. The backrounds were really well done, but characters and vehicles looked almost lifelike!

Sounds good! I didn't see the MTV thing.
Perfect Dark looks cool, I had it on 64.
Oh and check out this new site xbox360.com
Some good pictures and info there.
Also, I heard that it's going to have XBOX Live, free!

My buddy had sent me a link with some info on the system, but I didn't keep it. Anyways, on the site it broke down how Xbox Live will function with the new Xbox 360.
It seems that there will be a limited Silver subscription included with the console that will allow players to go online for free, but not play every game. Then, there will be a Gold subscrition that people will be able to pay for that will give them full Xbox Live access, superior stat-tracking, custom avatars, and in-game personal soundtracks.
I'll Post the link if I get from my buddy again.
P.S. I know it's early to be saying this, but I'm going to cross my fingers that I get one for Christmas!

Do you think, with the XBOX 360 online, that Halo 3 will have bots? I mean, the only reason they didn't put bots in Halo 2 was because they wanted you to buy Xbox Live, but soon it will be free.
I read that the basic membership gets you all online play, but the upgraded membership gives you free downloads/video chat and all those bonuses.
