A suggestion for Season 4
One thing I have noticed about the H3 ToH elements that will carry over to H4 ToH is that they all have something to do with the HISTORY of ToH.
Vesuvius, I was wondering if you would consider including the Heroes Addict Medal.
I was just looking at Zud's record and I count 621 games he has played while in ToH. This is an incredible number of games and a huge amount of time spent playing in the tournament.
Zud is one of the nicest people I have met since joining. He's always courteous, he'll play most anyone, and he's as honorable as anyone I know of. He sets a very good example of what ToH promotes--friendship, honor, and fair play in competition. I wish there were more people like him around
In my mind, he represents a large chunk of ToH history. After all, even those who joined before him can not lay claim to the record of games played that he holds. I just think it would be a pity for that to be forgotten.

I agree that Rare's long time dedication shouldn't be forgotten, and i doubt it ever would be
Ves has always maintained the history of the ToH and i think that would continue.. but maybe instead of that nasty ugly-face medal we should replace the icon with a shiny blue thong? Something that really reflects the Zud we all know and love  LOL

I totally agree with you, Pan. Ves does a great job with ToH, and any dealings I have had with him have left me with the impression that he is a fair and considerate person.
Instead of saying "I was wondering if you WOULD consider..." I should have said "I was wondering if you HAD considered..."
Simply put, I didn't see a specific reference to the Addicts Medal in his news posting on the ToH page, and was wondering if it was something that just 'slipped' by. In retrospect, perhaps I should have just emailed him with this question rather than posting it on this board. It would probably have been more appropriate to do so.
It's really none of my business, but I feel that it's an important issue and I know Zud would never ask something like this himself.
He has too much class to do something like that

Ok yeah Zuds cool I agree, but why should he be the only one to get credit? we all played this game for many hours even when we had better things to do. I think even the retired ones should be rememberd, I think the people that were part of this tournament before it will be so big when homm4 comes out. We are a group the people in homm3 we are a small community that we all will remember eachtoher... but when homm4 comes out it will be like aoe2 thousands of people here and not so many important people we won't all be such close friends or get to chat on zone so much. Maybe there should be a special page for all of us... whether you hate my guts right now or not at least consider what I said I am trying to be nice to all of you.... blue thong nice idea hahaha

Zud = Hulk Hogan
I would have to say Zud is to TOH what Hulk Hogan was to WWF in the early years. Zud is the first player to get that MVP medal, which is the most prestigeous medal, and in a sense, was created because the honor medal was not enough for him, and at seasons' end, we needed something else to make him stand out.
Zud represents true honor, heroes addiction & ultimate love of the game, and a very neutral comraderie that never finds him in any discourse with any other.
Which leads to this: Zud, JB, greystole all who got the MVP awards, do carry over the same medal... this means the prestige, and with the new 'honor rating' system, unlike how others start with 50% honor, they start at 100% automatically.
Take note that season III is about to end, and 2 more players will be getting the MVP medals for this season. That is a total of 5 players with this carrying over to homm4, and a free copy of homm4 also.

I still think you should make a page just for the people that started with your tournament cause when this gets too popular it won't be the same.. I am serious you should consider it.
