Editing H4 maps under WOW

Having enjoyed the excellent Draconis scenario playing through once on expert difficulty and achieving a score of golem dragon, I tried my hand at champion difficulty and turned in a megadragon score.

Searching for a stiffer challenge, I thought I'd edit the Draconis map using the new creatures, artifacts, and adventure map objects available under GS and WOW.

Unfortunately, after editing the Draconis map (latest versions and patches, including Equi), the scenario will not load, and in fact locks up the game during the attempt. I found a post explaining a bug with making two bows available (nomad blackbow and emerald) and unchecked those in the editor, but still no joy.

Can H4 maps be edited with GS/WOW objects and survive, or will I have to recreate Draconis from scratch (sheesh!)?

That's patently unnecessary.  There's already a WoW version of that map available.  As for that bow bug, it was fixed in a patch long ago.  Don't know why you were having trouble.

Great to hear there's a WoW version of Draconis - I'm off to find it! I still haven't figured out why it keeps locking up, though...
