why is it that every dragon in every game ever made is always the full-grown super-powerful kind?
i like the idea of a dragon town: level 1 is a drgon pup (kit, baby, whatever) and is very slow, weak, and can't fly. levels 2 and 3 are toddler versions which are faster and toughed but still no flying or firebreathing, 4 is a winged flightless firebreather version, 5 is flying fire-breather, 6 is larger flying flamer, 7 is too large and slow to fly, but has long-range (shooting) fireball attack and huge melee attack and defense.
or you could go elemental route. 1 is pup, 2 is toddler, 3 4 5 6 are each elemental offshoots with firebreath (fire), icebreath (water), flying (air), and an all-around 'ground-smash' attack (earth), 7 are the ubers with long-range fireball/iceball attacks, all-around melee atk, flight, and higher atk/def. naturally levels 3 4 5 6 only depend on level 1 2 being built, and to build level 7 dwelling would require all other dwellings. and you could probably just skip the upgrades altogether because 7 dragons in one place is plenty... 14 would be overkill. maybe you could use the elemental mushrooms to upgrade toddler dragons to 3 4 5 6 levels... and of course a rank 10 pup would auto-evolve into a rank 0 toddler, and a rank 10 toddler would auto-evolve into rank 0 elemental dragon... which one though? give player choice, do random choice, base on hero's army, or what?

i love towns based somewhat around elements and i love the dragon town idea but i dont think anyone will go for the idea

cmon whats the deal with dragons
i cant really see why we shouldnt have more dragons, based upon the town should have thier own dragon with its own extrordinary bonuses...
one dragon basically kicks ass if you have that town like h4 and to be frank i cant see how it would spoil it.
an alternative could be stuff the dragon idea completely and they are extinct./......
or another hing could be that they remain neutral after many years of being led in an army.....
maybesome rubbish to the point ive made but i cant see how more dragons would spoil the game.

Well, your idea isnīt that bad, but Iīm against this only-dragon town. Itīs just not for heroes, no matter how weak you make the lower level dragons. And how about these black and gold dragons and such, itīs useless to have dragon town in a world where dragons can be recruited in other towns aswell.
Otherwise itīs a nice idea, but maybe for some other game than homm.

what the hell
people would like to see a dragon town and its possible to do so but why just dragins and not the other civiliased organised races like elves dwarves etc. its possible but i fear it may stray to build ups like warhammer ...
god so may options ideas and no way of utilising them ..................................
there are many possibilities for loads of dragons but providing you give them thier strengths and weaknesses would it really be a problem having many more.

ok finale for me on this topic after a good thought
this is a neutral thought.....
people who dont wish to see more dragons what then would you like to see????????
people who like more dragons the questions should be ..
1. how many more from heroes 3?
2. should they be all neutral?
3. divide dragons between towns
4. do both for 2 and 3
5. or just one town dedicated to perhaps a valheru like in the book called (magician..in the riftwar saga)
