System Requirements
This is yet to be confirmed officially by Ubi:
This is what Nival said about system requirements(from Heroic Corner):
Q: What are the system requirements of the game?
A: A touchy issue. System requirements have been changed several times. In the end, the support of video cards of the generation of GeForce3/MX4 was cancelled. It will be possible to comfortably play on a P4 with half a gig of RAM, and a video card from the middle of the range of GeForceFX or Radeon 9xxx. The maximum appetite of the engine tends towards infinity. Currently, the target minimum system requirements are:
P4 2.5Ghz CPU (or equivalent)
512MB of RAM
128MB graphics card (ATI 9000s and higher, GF 4, FX and higher)
2GB of free hard drive space
LOL
My new puter barely passes these! Perhaps they are recommended requirements...

Lemme think... My comp's CPU is circa two times too slow, has 3/4 of the required RAM and graphics card two times weaker than required. Um... Yay?

I think somebody made that up and posted it as fact.
They've said all along they are going to try and keep the requirements somewhat low (if by nothing else then by scalability). Those are astronomically high for CPU and Vid Card- especially since the game is turn based. I'm sure their screenshots are at max detail, too.
Besides companies rarely release requirements specs this far before a games release because they tweak the engine up to the very end and don't want to post requirements that would alienate customers that might be able to play the final version of the game.

I pray you're right. Buying a new processor wouldn't be good for my economy...

Maybe they want us to know the requirements a whole year in advance so we can start saving money for a new puter early enough.
