Indeed, I am not aware of what they did, but if "laser tanks", I hardly see those having their place in a general mod, with regular towns enabled. More for a local mod/map. Give us Spiderman! (Hulk would be great too)

Damnt, the centaur tank is ridiculous, but I would love to use the other big ones. Nice Sci-Fi models.

But I never played MM and don't even care about the background storyline, get over it. It's all about the atmosphere and consistency.

Might and Magic was a science fantasy series since 1986 and remained science fantasy up until 2006. The facts are the facts, but I can't exactly help it if you don't give a damn
Regarding your atmosphere non-argument, a few oft-quoted words from the H3 lead designer:
Q: WHAT WAS THE STORY LINE?
GF: Armageddon's Blade followed a story line set up in the forthcoming Might and Magic 7. In the M&M7 story, Archibald's necromantic Advisors build a machine capable of creating high weaponry. In the Armageddon's Blade campaign, these Advisors build Forge towns and set out to destroy Erathia.
Q: DOES SCIENCE FICTION BELONG IN HEROES?
GF: Yes. Science fiction is the foundation of the Might and Magic universe. It is the reason the Might and Magic universe exists. At its core, the Might and Magic is about advanced civilizations who have descend into barbarism. If you disagree, your reasoning is emotional, not logical. Many people forget the Inferno is not populated by demons. It's populated by aliens who look like demons. If I told you the origin of the Arch Angels I'm sure many of you would have a heart attack.
Q: DO SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY MIX?
GF: In the Might and Magic universe they do.

Where does it lead to? I'm not interested in your self-contained story, but the game itself as it has been for last ten years. Without freaking tank units and other crap.

Then your reasoning is emotional, not logical ^^ I'll withdraw here, getting sick of debating a non-subjective matter.

Warmonger... just surrender. Challenging Ceph to a lore-battle is about as good an idea as challenging Usain Bolt in the 100m dash, or Muhammed Ali to a Boxing match, or Dagoth to a dramatic writing contest, or Bill Gates to a game of real life monopoly. "In vain" wouldn't even begin to describe the magnitude of the hopelessness.

How funny, I find it exactly opposite. You try to convince that discarded scenario is a part of game more important than its content and cam be freely interpeted as a justification to destroy subtle balance and fantasy setting which made HOMM3 one of most popular games of all times.
Quote: lore-battle
What? You find this a kind of entertainment? Begone, some of people actually want to play the game ad make it even more playable. You can tell stories all night long, but words won't change facts. Luckily, in this case.

I did not say a word about H3 but the series as a whole. H3 is a part of that series and very much part of its original universe which as the H3 designer himself stated is a mix of science and fantasy.
You mentioned H3 is in a high-fantasy setting which is incorrect. Now you say this is a fact despite previous posts which show absolute apathy regarding the backstory, therefore implying lack of knowledge about the subject or interest in accumulating any. No, H3 did not overtly have any sci-fi connections but you can bet your left arm it does have them. There's no horrendous agenda on my part, not trying to convince you to love the Forge, just correcting an error.

Frankly, I think that this discussion follows to nothing. C'mon guys, Might&Magic universe was, is and will be science fiction and the Heavenlt Forge fits it perfectly!
And as somebody said - no, Forge IS NOT a city of robots... town removed from AB expansion was a town, where some guys with Ancient technologyand who had the ability of persuasion to collect goblins, zombies and other stuff. Why? Becouse they had promised to them more power. So we had zombies with mechanic hands and goblins with guns from Ancient technology and power. Is that clear? I hope so, I wrote it so shortly...
And now, we aren't planning storyline compared with Kastor.

Yes, we will finish it in 1-2 months I think.

Hmph, maybe not whole universe, but a planet where is the Antagarich placed on... well, we have got some plans with this part of storyline, but shhh! dont tell anyone!
And to prove it, i will make a little leak of some creatures. We have more animations of course, but I will show first creature from 1st level of the Heavenly Forge and its upgrade.
