Army strength in WOG, please help
Hi, Can someone please help me. Playing WOG multiplayer game with computer players, I get my army real strong I get two swords showing in the right corner of my warriors - for example I have 20 black dragons and 40 manticores. But Computer has 10 Hydras in his army, he doesn`t have two swords showing there but a ring with another ring in it. He squashes my army with his hydras. How can I get these rings to my warriors?

when u play go to a creature and double click then click again on the portrait. this will show u the creatures level, exp and more. 2 swords is excellent and means ur on lvl 10. when u get exp ur army gains some too. this is a main ting in wog that u shouldve known about

Thanks, but thats not the way. Because once I played Large map loaded with dragons and gained maximum expierince for monsters and still 2 swords my monters had.
Maybe I have to have some special artfacts or some other special walkthrough?
Because 2 swords is good, but a ring with another ring in it is 20 times better.

What do you mean with the ring? He might have warlords banner attached to the hydra stack.

Try it. Still canīt believe how 10 hydras (not chaos) can beat 20 blackies.

That`s all because computer has these rings to his warriors but I have two swords, our expierince level is pretty much the same, but his army is unvulnerable. The effect of those rings is like you would have 150 Attack skill and 150 defence skill - like that

and i also cant believe 20 blacks cant beat 10 hydras

Could you post a screenshot so we would see the rings? I have no idea what you mean.

Those are not "rings" but tiny black-and-white circles, which mean the unit has got a Warlord's Banner. This artifact looks like a small green flag and it can give various bonuses to troops in combat (+ speed, attack, defense, health, etc). It gives the block ability, which is the only way those Hydras could beat your Blackies.
On the other hand, your opponent might have had level 8 hydras (light purple color), which are much stronger than level 7 dragons.
If you have the latest patch (3.58) you have also downloaded a good WoG manual. Try to find it in one of your Heroes folders; it will explain all the new features to you.

You don`t believe him? I do. Amazing how powerful the Chaos Hydras become on ACE level. +50 defence with one "defend" command is just great  you can have Hydras with 80+ defence this way. My record is 122 defence with a stack of Chaos Hydras. They were almost invincible - and they blocked part of the damage pretty often.
