SOD, Gem's Campaign New Beginnings, map 1

I can win this map in about 15 days, following a plan of campaign that I haven't seen elsewhere.  The result is repeatable, but I wonder if it's a good idea to win so quickly.

The problem is that Gem only gets up to level 5 or 6, and misses a few chances to learn secondary skills or to learn spells or to gain primary skill points. As a result, map 2 becomes more difficult, with a slower start. The number of turns taken for the campaign as a whole may actually be harmed by such a quick win on the first map.

The plan is simple: gather all the elves and centaurs you can, plus the pegasi from the external dwelling and perhaps more pegasi from one of your towns, upgrade to CC and GE, and go conquering on day 5 or at worst day 6; you can win without ever getting reinforcements.

In other words, it helps to know the map :-)

I took daily notes, in the unlikely case that anybody is interested.
