"Mob Rule" (US) / "Street Wars" (UK)
I really enjoy this game. This is basically called "Constructor Underworld" after a 1997 game called Constructor. Mob Rule (1999) is an RTS set in the 1930s gangster era; you are a new mob boss in the making. You have a set of tasks to carry out over a series of missions, and you cannot affort to mess up or your Godfather will make fish bait outta you. You start with an HQ building as well as some workers; you have to build houses and put tenants inside in order to either pay rent ($) or breed more workers. Workers can be turned into Fixers (who do building repairs) or Gangsters (your main boys). Other gangs will try to make life difficult for your mob, so you have to eventually return the favor.
It's a very fun game, but I also have to mention that it's on of the most hilarious I've ever played. There's humor everywhere, and it adds a good feel to the overall decent game. Anybody into this game?

At a computer games store with a wide variety of oldies I suppose. This is one of those games that were good, but never really made it because of strong competition and little to no advertisement.

Well yes, there's always e-bay. The ultimate buying place. Anyone know where I could find an affordable "Queen: The Eye" of good quality?

Cutscene from the game
Radio Announcer: Word is just in that public enemy #1 Limp Lenny was recently discovered naked and dismembered in the freezer of a restaurant in downtown Rangoon, Burma. We've got our reporter Metz Chedly on the scene.
MC: "I'm here with the owner of the Burmese sushi bar where Limp Lenny's dismembered body was found. Sir, when did you find the body in your freezer?"
Owner: "Sushi! Sushi! Only five dollars!"
MC: "Please, sir, just answer my questions. The body of Limp Lenny was found in your refridgerator, is that correct?"
Owner: "Sushi! Sushi! Only five dollars!"
MC: "Sir, listen to me. Was the body already cut up when you found it?"
Owner: "Sushi! Sushi! Only five dollars! You gonna eat?"
MC: "Alright, alright! Look, I'm eating. Mmmmmm, this stuff is pretty good. What's the main ingredient? Fish?"
Owner: "No, no. It's local specialty. It's not fish, it's rimp."
MC: Oh, I like shrimp.
Owner: "It's not shrimp, it's rimp! As in rimp renny!"
MC: "This is Metz Chedly (gulp) reporting from Rangoon."
*vomit sounds heard*
Radio Announcer: "In other new today, Al Capone is surprised nominee of the Nobel Peace Prize. We sent our reporter Corey Cauphenheyner to ask Mr. Capone how he got the Prize. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of Corey, please contact the station!"
