Some ingame questions
1. Artifacts that make spell resitence. Do u need Basic/adv/exp resitence for them to work?
2.What meens "weak of frogs" and so on? Does it effect the game?
3.What is the meaning of life?

It only effects the game, when it says " week of the [put a creature of heroes here]". Then u will find +5 units of that type in the dwellings of the specific castle.

"Week of" also doubles population growth. e.g If you have 50 unbought griffins on day 7. then week of the griffins happens day 1, it doubles that 50 to 100. Doesnt work if its griffins unbought and week of royal griffins.
At least its something like that. Been awhile since ive seen it. I prefer reloads when that happens. Its just luck and too unfair if its higher level creatures

I just thought of something. I dunno if this was answered before, but do you no longer get Week of the Plague when you or another player builds the Grail in an Inferno town? That causes every week to be increasing the population of Imps/Familiars. I've no idea if that makes you immune to further random halvings.

Ok...looks like there are still some points not clear
I guess the AI has a list with many creatures on it, made by the programmers. The list contains all creatures which could be bought in dwells and it also contains some creatures which u wonīt find in the game.
Now, on every first day of a week, one of these creatures (randomly chosen by the AI) will be the "Creature of the week".
Two different possible scenarios could happen now:
1. The creatures does not exist in the game.
--> nothing special happens, all dwellings have normal production
2. The creature does exist in the game.
--> all dwellings (only the one in towns..not the dwellings placed on the adventure map!) produce +5 units of that special creature.
Now, on every first day of the first week of a month (escept the first one), a "Creature of the month" will be proclaimed.
Three different possible scenarios could happen now:
1. The creatures does not exist in the game.
--> nothing special happens, all dwellings have normal production
2. The creatures does exist in the game.
--> Lots of stacks of that specific creature will be placed all over the adventure map. (not 100% sure, but as far as i remember, this can only happen with creatures from Level 1 to Level 4)
--> The amount of that type of creature which have not been bought on day 7 out of the dwelling in a town will be doubled. (i.e.: if u had 15 of that creature in the dwelling on day 7, u will have 30 on next day)
3. Month of plague
--> Only on the first day of the first week of every month (except the first month), plague could occur, which means, all creatures in the dwellings which have not been bought on day 7 will be halfed (rounded down!). So if u had 3 Titans in your dwelling on day 7, u will have only 1 remained when plague occurs. Chances of plague are at about 20%. That sounds much on first view, but it isnīt. It means, u will get plague 1 time out of the first six months....online games donīt last that long...so u prolly never see it happen..
One small hint for some of you which could help a bit when it comes to week 4 day 7 and u donīt have enough money to buy all creatures:
Buy the non-upgraded creatures of all dwellings. They are much cheaper and u could upgrade them on next day if u need to...but u wonīt loose them coz of plague..

So I guess you can still experience Week of the Plague even if the Inferno's Grail structure is built?
In one game I was Tower and one of my enemies played Inferno. He got the Grail and built the Grail Structure in his main town, causing Imp/Familiar populations to increase each week for every player. Deductive reasoning suggests I couldn't hope to experience (for example) a Week of the Giants/Titans, because only Imp/Familiars would increase. I wonder if, in the same way, the Inferno's Grail Structure could negate the possibility of plague. I was never in a good position to test this myself, so if anyone knows, I'm all ears.

Interesting question guitarguy....to be honest....i never thought about that. But for the matter of fact every week is proclaimed as week of the imp / familar, i guess there wonīt be a "draw" where plague is involved...just a guess though...

1. Thanks Angelito for explaining the difference between "week of" and "month of".
2. I have read somewhere here that no plague can happen when Inferno has the grail. But that post could be wrong.
3. I was playing a game against the computer where I wanted to see how long I could stand to string out the game; it was month 3 or so when I finally dug up the Grail, and I was already running out of wandering stacks to fight; so I put the Grail in an Inferno town :-) -- I managed to play another 5 months, and no plague, but that's not enough to be statistically significant. You'd have to go 100 months to be reasonably sure of it!
4. I must try this, and edit the results in here later: Map-edit and make a neutral Inferno with the Grail structure already built -- will every week be Imp?
5. No discussion of the Inferno Grail is complete without a mention of how much it helps Necropolis :-)
