the green tower is part of the earlier versions. i just uploaded everything i have so the modders can use them. (like the ankh)

I Agree, also this "Mirrorcabinet" in purple looks somehow strange, rest is nice imo. Also the desert Theme fits well and its missing atm. The units... we'll see, HotA did a great job with it. I'd like it for HotA.

Since i dont have an account on Acid cave im gonna post my suggestions here, maybe someone will consider my vision of bastion town since it needs a lot of polishing.

First of all, creature names are not weell-thought. why would someone call a lvl 1 upgraded unit sacred? We ve seen this word before in wog for lvl 8 Sacred phoenix. Why would the people of bastion call it sacred? It s only a scarab and as i can see it s just a little bit tougher than the pixies/sprites of conflux and nymphs/oceanids of cove and it can be found in great numbers.we all hate how squishy units are the most targeted units in battlegrounds especially when heroes hit and run with a lightning bolt and 40 of them die. So let s give them an usage outside the battlefield: gold generation. Just like peasants in h2, these golden scarabs would generate 1:1 golD and this could be the reason why they re considered sacred.

next unit could be called overseer/warder.

In ancient egypt overseers used whips on slaves to build pyramids (in our case buildings) in order to hasten the process. warders are guardsmen of the city. These names were planned to be introduced by New Town Group in their version of bastion.

Level 3 units: camel rider/desert warriors. Desert warriors would be the title achieved by camel riders through honor.

Level 4 units: sekhmet/sekhmet priestess. The term 'avatar' is already used for abubis.

Level 5 - ammut/ ammut leader. I think that ammut/ammit is wrong because Usually, 3do used the same mythological name for a creature in both versions of the unit (degrade and upgrade), but to the upgrade is added a higher rank/title to the same mythological name. Eg. Genie/master genie, medusa medusa queen and not genie/djin, meDusa/gorgon

Level 6 - horus/sky horus or nopheros/sky nopheros since this unit is not just a simple falcon, it s a representation of a diety of our world.

LevEl 7 - anubis warrior/anubis avatar.

As for heroes classes i suggest: sun priest for magic hero and faraon For might hero. The faraon would be a hero coming from a rich family, thus it should have estates or a specific spespecialty based on estates.

though it might be true, i dont believe that. slavery was very used in ancient times and i dont think that the wealth of the empire was spent on war resources, massive buildings [like pyramids] and workers too. if they did that, the pyramids would not have been this large or built at such speed, that's why i still think that the empire distributed the riches only to war resources and buildings and materials and tools for building (and maybe some other important stuff too) but not on workers. i think it makes more sense to use slaves than to pay workers if slavery is an option. this article....may be just an attempt to diminish the bad reputation of ancient civilizations and slavery in general. and of course they sent cattle and sheep to them daily...they had to eat something, that doesnt mean that they were treated  right.


In addition to what i said in the previous post, IF there is a miracle and this city gets a campaign too, the creators can expand the lore of this game very easily. as you can see in the town screen, the city looks very prosperous and the buildings [especially the citadel] looks massive compared to other cities [fortress, stronghold, conflux etc]. Only tower's castle can be compared in size, but the magis are prosperous because they are builders. They build golems [gargoyles, humanoids, titans] that build structures, but that's because their knowledge in magic is vast, unlike the bastion priests' which is limited [to mage guild lvl 4], so why is this city so prosperous? After they turned away from the Ancestors [like any other civilization on this planet] they started worshiping the Sun. The irony is that the sun is the home of the ancestors, but they did not know that. The worshiping of the Sun made their cities prosperous even though they did not conquer rich lands which they could exploit [unlike erathia, bracada, avlee and other vast empires that had vast territories]. They did not need rich lands because they were the only race that worshiped the ancestors [even without knowing that].

i also noticed that the special buildings of bastion are gold related [generate +500 gold each day] and if my ideas are taken into account [gold generation from sacred scarabs and Faraons' estate specialties and maybe the resource silo would require special resources and provide gold] this city would be a gold-centered city [that would be a first since all other cities are mercury/crystal/gem/sulfur-centered cities] and could provide a new strategy for homm3 gameplay. For example, the creature buildings could cost a lot more gold, but less resources [gems, crystals, mercury etc], but this increased cost in gold is not necessarily applied to creatures too. only buildings! Now, the player who chooses the bastion city would have to pay more gold on developing the city [like 30.000 gold and 5 of special resources for 7th level building], but would have an abundance of resources, which could be well-spent on developing a second city, which, as we know, it requires at least 10-15 of special resources on the 7th level building. This way, in late game, the player who chose bastion would have the power of at least two cities.

It says it is for VCMI. Where do I get the VCMI and how both things are combined together?
